The Fruit and the Root: What’s the Solution?

If you are a regular on the Sons of Liberty Media website, you are getting a lot of truth of how out-of-control evil is running wildly throughout our land. Obviously, it’s getting worse by the moment. Thank God for those who are exposing diabolical plots designed to further enslave us as disposable pawns in the definitely-doomed-to-failure New World Order.

People in America are becoming more and more technologically savvy, along with becoming more and more diabolically programmed. Nationally, we are becoming increasingly stupid– intellectually, morally and spiritually. For the most part our government leaders at every level have betrayed us over many years without being successfully confronted for their misdeeds and held accountable by “we the people.” Our public education system has stolen the minds of our children and drained our personal and public finances.

Most of our so-called Christian leaders feed us with “…seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy…” (I Timothy 4:1-2a), instead of the exposition and practical application of the straight and pure Word of God. Most of our food and supplies are toxic. We have been further victimized by a medical culture regularly defiling us with prescription drugs and their side effects. Hundreds of thousands of our young men and women have been permanently maimed or have perished needlessly in wars sponsored by the world’s elite in conjunction with our military industrial complex.

So here we are. The Bible said this is exactly how world conditions would be as the result of people rejecting the Word of God and God Himself. It’s all pretty frightening and overwhelming. So many are stuck in a hopeless bad news feeding frenzy, and spend a lot of time shaking their heads, endlessly discussing and griping about how bad things are.

There are also many sincerely asking, “What can I do about it? I’m just one person. Is there any hope of me making a real difference for the better in this world?” Of course, each of us can speak up and stand up in our networks of influence, not just against evil, but for biblical righteousness. It is a waste of time and energy to merely address symptoms without offering a solution that goes to the root issue, not just analyzing the fruit issues.

You can’t kill an evil tree by simply removing its fruit. You have to pull the tree out by the root. Then there is no more evil fruit. The root of all the rampant evil in our world is that we have believed the lies of Satan and have consequently allowed sin to fill our hearts and control our lives. All of this, multiplied exponentially through many generations, brings us to the tragic situations in which we find ourselves in 2015.

The problems are the bad news, the fruit of evil trees. The good news is there is one basic solution. Our salvation and hope is not found in political, educational, economic or religious reformation. It is found in transformation of human hearts. It can only happen through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

God saw and sees every bit of the world’s sin. And He did something about. He came among us as a man, Christ Jesus. He uniquely lived a sinless life, bled and died on a cruel Roman cross to pay the full penalty for our sin and rose again as the supreme conqueror of Satan, sin and death. He made it possible for the tree of sin in us to be uprooted so He could make us “trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” (Isaiah 61:3b).

The Apostle Paul keenly understood that personal, genuine faith in Jesus Christ was the one and only solution to the deepest needs of mankind. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16). He devoted his life, despite constant persecution of all kinds, to communicate the good news to as many people as possible, in as many places as possible, as quickly as possible. It was a matter of eternal life or eternal death for their souls.

It still is. Jesus Christ remains our world’s only solution and hope, now and forever. May our focus in these troubling days be to declare and demonstrate Him to everyone we can, everywhere we can, every way we can–before it’s too late!
