Guns can be used to hunt, and especially the can be used to defend ourselves (Luke 11:21).
I will give you some examples, back in the old days there were no Walmarts, no cub foods, and no marketplaces. There were just vegetables and animals and forest. Those who lived back then had to hunt, and if they didn’t hunt, often they would go hungry (2 Thessalonians 3:10).
So, guns were used to get their food so they could eat.
However, they also had to worry about defending themselves against Indians during that time, as well.
In the 1800s, there was a true story that was turned into a movie called Free State of Jones. The events of the story occurred during the War of Northern Aggression, but the highlight is there was a part where the lead character, Newton Knight played by Matthew McConaughey, was helping a lady because men were going to take her livestock, and if they took her livestock, she and her kids would not eat.
So, Knight got his guns. When the men came and tried to take their livestock, they pointed their guns at them and they went away.
Another example of the importance of having guns was during World War II. When the Germans invaded Poland, they were doing bad things to the Jews, as well as disarming the people. There is a movie called Schindler’s List. It is about what the Germans did to the Jews. They would break into their houses and go strait for the kill because they knew they were disarmed.
In another movie, Miracle at Midnight, the Jews were armed with guns and it was the Germans who were shot and afraid.
Another example of the importance of guns is always to carry a gun because you never know who is out there.
I live in Minnesota and almost every Sunday we go to a mall that is filled with people. One day, my dad showed me a video of a man stabbing people in that same mall and an off-duty police officer shot him. That is a perfect example of why you should always carry a gun.
Never disarm yourself.
