The Mayors’ Compact & How It Undermines American Freedoms & Promotes Foreign Law

The Mayors’ Compact fighting hate and bigotry is a grassroots initiative created by The Anti-Defamation League to combat intolerance or animus feelings toward Muslims and Jews.  The Compact has strong language toward hate and bigotry, which is protected under the US Constitution.   The compact reaches outside its boundaries to include hate speech, which violates the First Amendment of free speech.

Over 300 mayors nationally signed onto this agreement between the United States Conference of Mayors and the Anti-Defamation League to stop hate and bigotry against Muslims, Jews and minorities but fails to mention Christian. The agreement addresses hate groups, primarily white supremacists, after the protest in Charlottesville, Virginia where a woman was savagely ran over by a driver in a car.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Mayors’ Compact is riding the shirt tails of United Nations Res. 16/18 blasphemy laws toward Muslims.  The United States Constitution became an obstacle in the advancement of UN Res. 16/18 and the International Human Rights Commission when Hillary Clinton tried to implement blasphemy laws in the United States by the advice of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

In 2011, Hillary Clinton met with the OIC secretary general in a three-day closed door meeting to express her concerns toward international blasphemy laws and American laws.  Clinton caved and proceeded to advance the UN agenda 16/18 onto the United States.

The First Amendment of free speech falls under attack by the OIC, 57-Muslim-member-states voting as a block for the advancement of Shariah law, who in 2007, afforded Islam the same rights as an individual.

In 2015, Democrat leaders got on board and introduced  H. Res 569 blasphemy laws against Muslims resembling UN Res 16/18.  This resolution received wide support from Congressmen like Minnesota Democrats Keith Ellison and Tim Walz, but the Resolution failed because it focused solely on intolerance toward Muslims.

In 2017, the Senate expanded its intolerance list and introduced S. Res 118 adding Jews and minorities to share the spotlight with Islam.  Christians again failed to be included.

Res 118 was introduced by Kamala Harris. Co-sponsors were (R) Marc Rubio, (R) Susan Collins and (D) Dianne Feinstein. On April 4,  the Resolution passed and was sent to the House of Representatives.  The United states very well could lose their expression of free speech if passed.

On April 4, 2017, the US Senate passed Senate Resolution 118, “Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States.”  The resolution was drafted by a Muslim organization, EmgageUSA (formerly EmergeUSA) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).

Politicians and civic leaders who cater to the ISLAMIC religion are fighting an uphill battle to pass such high demands by Islamic groups and anti-blasphemy laws.

Strange bedfellows with totally different beliefs such as Islam and ADL are working in solidarity as they write resolutions and the Mayors’ Compact.  Mayors and politicians sign in good faith without investigating where these ideas originate and the consequences affecting our liberties.

Mayors bypassed legislation and went right to the people to implement international laws.  Although the Mayors’ Compact is an agreement.  It is not law in America.  People fail to read the Constitution and believe it to be the supreme law of the land.

Mayors from across the country signed the Mayors’ Compact to Combat Hate, Extremism and Bigotry. The effort is led by the Anti-Defamation League and U.S. Conference of Mayors.

The Mayors’ Compact has 10 key components:

  1. EXPRESSLY REJECTING EXTREMISM, WHITE SUPREMACY AND ALL FORMS OF BIGOTRY: Mayors will use the bully pulpit to speak out against racism, extremism, xenophobia, white supremacy and all forms of bigotry, and those who espouse such ideologies, and promote community conversations around these issues as needed.
  1. DENOUNCING ALL ACTS OF HATE WHEREVER THEY OCCUR: Mayors will publicly denounce specific acts of hate and support efforts to punish bias motivated violence to the fullest extent of the law, and provide comfort and assistance to victims of hate crimes and discrimination.
  1. ENSURING PUBLIC SAFETY WHILE PROTECTING FREE SPEECH AND OTHER BASIC CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS: Mayors will protect public safety while safeguarding free speech and other basic constitutional rights through the use of appropriate time, place, and manner restrictions. This might include encouraging alternative rally sites and placing limits on the rights of protestors to bring weapons to political rallies.
  1. CALLING FOR FULLY-RESOURCED LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CIVIL RIGHTS INVESTIGATIONS OF DOMESTIC TERRORISM AND HATE CRIMES: Mayors will work to ensure that local police departments have the financial resources necessary to prevent, respond to and investigate domestic terrorism and hate crimes, and work with federal authorities when appropriate to ensure that the interests of justice are served.
  1. ELEVATING AND PRIORITIZING ANTI-BIAS AND ANTI-HATE PROGRAMS IN OUR NATION’S SCHOOLS: Mayors will encourage schools to implement anti-bias and anti-hate content in their curricula and/or through extra-curricular activities. ADL and other groups have materials and training programs that can help make this happen.
  1. SUPPORTING TARGETED COMMUNITIES AND BRINGING TOGETHER CIVIC AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO BUILD TRUST: Mayors will reach out proactively to civil rights leaders, clergy and other community leaders to ensure that they are engaged and actively involved in efforts to build trust across neighborhood and community lines and minimize intergroup tensions.
  1. CELEBRATING DIVERSITY, PROMOTING INCLUSIVITY AND CHALLENGING BIAS: Mayors will support the integration of immigrants and other new residents into the community, encourage community activities which celebrate diversity and educate city residents about the different cultures that compose a city’s population, and work with creative partners to use various electronic and print media outlets to promote public messages celebrating inclusivity and challenging bias. Mayors also will support inherent bias training for local elected and business leaders to help combat institutional racism.
  1. PROMOTING LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING ON RESPONDING TO AND REPORTING HATE INCIDENTS, HATE CRIMES AND DOMESTIC TERRORISM: Mayors will encourage their police departments to participate in training programs offered by ADL and others that address how to identify and respond to hate incidents, hate crimes, and domestic terrorism. Members will also encourage the collection of data on such crimes and the provision of the data to appropriate state authorities and the FBI in compliance with the Federal Hate Crime Statistics Act.
  1. ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES TO REPORT HATE INCIDENTS AND CRIMES, INCLUDING USING HOT LINES AND ONLINE TOOLS: Mayors will encourage residents – both victims and witnesses – to report hate incidents and hate crimes to local authorities, and provide the tools necessary to facilitate such reporting, including hot lines and online tools, as possible and appropriate.
  1. MAINTAINING CIVIL RIGHTS ENFORCEMENT AND STRENGTHENING HATE CRIME LAWS WHEN NECESSARY: Mayors will work with executive and legislative partners at the federal and state levels to assure that civil rights laws are aggressively enforced, existing hate crime laws are strengthened as needed, and new laws are enacted to ensure that all hate crimes are prosecutable in their jurisdictions to the greatest extent possible.

Conclusion:  As you can see, the direction of focus is on Whites or White supremacy and no other race, color or religions.   In number nine, it directly encourages individuals to call authorities if there is or was an intent for hate speech or crime.   There has been one other time in history this type of motive occurred and that was under the Hitler regime when children outed their parents.
