They Are NOT The Victims: False Prophets & False Teachers Are God’s Judgment Upon A People That Would Have It So!

“But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.” -John 5:42

“…because my word hath no place in you.” -John 8:37

Recently, I ran across a piece from a preacher, Paul Washer, who was highlighting false prophets and false teachers and how it is that they are God’s judgment upon the people who do not want the truth of His Word.  So, I took the time to add the Scriptures that back up the truth of what was being highlighted.

*In the name of religion, they plan on getting everything that their carnal heart desires from those who are teaching it.

“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” -1 Timothy 6:5

*The reason given why Americans have a Pope, a Joel Osteen, a T. D. Jakes, a Jesse Duplantis, a Mark Taylor, a Steven Furtick, a Todd White, a Kenneth Copeland, a Benny Hinn, a Joyce Meyer, a Paula White, a Creflo Dollar, etc…, and why they are raised up, and how it falls to the feet of the very people that would have it so.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;” -2 Timothy 4:3

Those people that sit under them are not victims of the false teachers.  They are the judgment of God upon them because they want exactly what they are selling, and it isn’t God.

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” -Galatians 1:8

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” -John 3:36

They say that they preach the word, and then follow it up without telling their followers to be ready in season and out of season to reprove, rebuke and exhort.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.” -2 Timothy 4:2

Notice what these false teachers do:  They withhold the Scripture, in context, and boast in the fact that they do not reprove, or rebuke.  They say that it is not their ministry.

Why do they say that it is not their ministry?  They say that they have a ministry of love.  Are they then saying that Christs ministry is not of love because he reproved and rebuked? That is exactly what they are saying. It is in direct contrast to Scripture.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” -2 Timothy 3:16

In Leviticus 19:17, it tells us: “Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.”

God is love, and if we love God, we keep His commandments (John 15:10).

Scripture teaches us, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.”  This is where these hypocrites are at. These religious hypocrites identified with Christianity can’t endure sound doctrine because they are enemies of the cross (Philippians 3:17-21).

They have created a fake Jesus, a Jesus that does not line up with Scripture, a Jesus that looks just like them (Exodus 20:4).

In conclusion: These are those who are responsible for making the real Church in America looked to as a reproach.  Yet, if they would merely read the Bible for themselves, they would have discovered the same things as we have just exposed (2 Timothy 2:15).
