Thousands of People Show Up to Protest Federal Funding of Planned Parenthood

Over the weekend, thousands of people showed up across the nation, from New York to California to protest the central government’s funding of the murder mills known as Planned Parenthood.

According to reports, 225 rallies were planned in 45 states to protest against Planned Parenthood.

The message was clear that Americans do not want their tax dollars being unconstitutionally spent to murder babies nor provide women with contraception.

At a rally against Planned Parenthood in Michigan, Rod Romeyn told 24 Hour News 8, “There’s enough information to show that murdering a baby is no choice. It’s not about women’s rights.  Rights come from God… we have a nation that calls evil good and good evil and I can tell you judgment will fall on this country and when it does it will be very harsh.”

Romeyn is correct.  We are already experiencing the judgment of God (Deuteronomy 28).  God has told us:

“There are six things which Jehovah hateth; Yea, seven which are an abomination unto him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood; A heart that deviseth wicked purposes, Feet that are swift in running to mischief, A false witness that uttereth lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren” (Prov. 6:16-19).

“To take away funding from Planned Parenthood you’re taking away basic healthcare for women that can’t afford to have insurance or women that don’t have employers that provide it,” Michelle Petz countered. “I used Planned Parenthood for 15 years while going to get my degree in social work and waiting tables, so it’s super important to keep that in place.”

Perhaps, Ms. Petz should learn to pay her own way instead of being dependent upon government and understand that our Constitution does not provide any authority to Congress to fund organizations like Planned Parenthood.  In fact, it has been demonstrated that Planned Parenthood does not provide “basic healthcare for women.” That is merely a ruse.  And prenatal care?  That’s virtually non-existent.

Planned Parenthood supporters also showed up to protest against the protesters.  Some even planned events, but notice the small amount that actually attended.

Just keep in mind one thing, the supporters of Planned Parenthood never finish what they are in favor of.  They claim to be “pro-choice,” but what are the choices?  I’ll tell you, the choice is to let your baby live or murder it.  That’s the thing they are attempting to hide in that little word “pro-choice.”

A majority of the rallies were peaceful, though passions did flare on both sides, and how could they not?  The very lives of millions of babies and mothers are at stake on this issue.

Yes, mother’s lives are also at stake when abortions are performed, something Planned Parenthood will never talk to you about in the media.  Just take a look at the plethora of stories from Operation Rescue concerning ambulances having to be called to Planned Parenthood facilities and the many deaths for which they are responsible.

President Donald Trump defunded foreign payments to Planned Parenthood.  Let’s see if his administration can push through a full pro-life agenda, something he promised on the campaign trail, where any and all funding to murder mills is abolished and punishment for the murderers is encouraged by the states.

Americans are sick and tired of their government acting lawlessly and funding the lawless, and they are making their voices heard!
