Trump Adds Zionist Lobbyist To Iran Negotiating Team

Previously declared Iran’s government “must be treated as an inveterate enemy.”

Donald Trump has appointed Nick Stewart as a negotiator along with the Zionist real estate developer Steve Witkoff and Trump’s settler-friendly son-in-law, Jared Kushner. On Iran, Witkoff is witless, while Kushner is a favorite of fanatical Zionist settlers in Bet El and other settlements on stolen Palestinian land. For Iran, the inclusion of Stewart represents another slap in the face and a further indicator the Zionists run the show in America.

Stewart is an Israel lobbyist for the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), a Zionist think tank. FDD began its existence as “Emet,” which is Hebrew for “truth.” It is an adjunct to the Israeli lobby in the United States, according to John Mearsheimer and others. Sima Vaknin-Gil, director general of Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs, stated the “think tank” works closely with the Israeli state and its hard-right Likud government.

Mark Dubowitz is the CEO of FDD and co-chair of the Project on US Middle East Nonproliferation Strategy, an organization that “calls for tough nonproliferation standards in the Middle East,” focusing exclusively Iran’s nonexistent nuclear program, while remaining mum on Israel’s nuclear weapons.

“A White House official said Stewart is being detailed from the State Department, joining the staff at the White House to support the team,” writes Alex Marquardt. “Stewart is known as an Iran hand who had previously served in the first Trump administration as the chief of staff at the Iran Action Group at the State Department, under then-Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook.”

Hook is the vice chairman of Cerberus Capital Management and formerly part of Trump’s “Peace to Prosperity” plan, launched presumably to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and “Improve the Lives of the Palestinian and Israeli People,” while allowing illegal Israeli settlements to remain in the West Bank. Palestinian representatives were not invited to participate. The Palestinians argue “that Trump is too biased in favor of the Israeli government and only seeks to bolster Netanyahu’s nationalist government.”

Brian Hook resigned from the State Department in 2020, during Trump’s first term, and was replaced by Elliott Abrams, the convicted Iran-Contra criminal who worked with George W. Bush on the neocon plan to illegally invade Iraq and murder more than a million Iraqis. Abrams, as Assistant Secretary of State under Bush, called for aid to Guatemala under then dictator Efraín Ríos Montt, who was found guilty of directing a campaign of torture and genocide of indigenous Guatemalans. Abrams also defended the human rights record of El Salvador and its death squads.

Max Blumenthal writes that Stewart “previously condemned dealing with any of Iran’s elected leaders” and the FDD lobbyist “argued that even the reformist President Masoud Pezeshkian must be treated as an inveterate enemy” because he is, in Stewart’s words, “a part of the theocratic, tyrannical, authoritarian government of Iran.”

The Trump negotiating team, stacked with dedicated Zionists, is not prepared to make a deal acceptable to Iran. For weeks, Trump has demanded unconditional surrender and, short of that, has promised to make sure Iran’s civilization “will die… never to be brought back again.”

Iran understands Netanyahu and Israel are calling the shots on “negotiations” that, in the past, were used as cover to betray the Islamic Republic, murder its Supreme Leader and other officials, attempt to destroy the country, and send Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the Shah and dictator, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, to rule over a dismembered Iran with the help of a remodeled SAVAK.
