Trump Administration Approves $1.3 Billion Arms Sale to Saudi Arabia

And you thought this kind of thing would stop once Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah was out of the people’s White House.  Think again!  The Trump administration approved a $1.3 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, the country that the majority of the alleged hijackers of 9/11 came from and where much of their funding came from.

Fox News reports:

The State Department said Thursday that the Trump administration has signed off on an agreement to sell more that $1.3 billion in artillery to Saudi Arabia, the second arms deal between the U.S. and Riyadh in as many months.

The package includes about 180 Paladin howitzer systems. The artillery-firing vehicles launch 155mm shells.

On March 22, the administration approved a $1 billion arms sale that included about 6,700 U.S.-built anti-tank missiles, as well as maintenance and spare parts for American tanks and helicopters in Saudi Arabia’s arsenal.

Both deals have been concluded since the arrival of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the United States for a three-week tour of the U.S.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Keep in mind that the Crown Prince also has been lying about the nature of Islam, the overriding religion of Saudi Arabia that governs the nation by Sharia.

In an interview we reported on earlier this week, bin Salman said:

Islam is a religion of peace. This is the translation of Islam. God, in Islam, gives us two responsibilities: The first is to believe, to do good things, and not bad things. If we do bad things, God will judge us on Judgment Day.

Our second duty as Muslims is to spread the word of God. For 1,400 years, Muslims have been trying to spread the word of God. In the Middle East, in North Africa, in Europe, they weren’t allowed to spread the word. That’s why they fought to spread the word. But you also see that, in a lot of countries in Asia—Indonesia, Malaysia, India—Muslims were free to spread the word. They were told, “Go ahead, say whatever you want to say, the people have free will to believe whatever they want to believe in.” Islam, in this context, was not about conquering, it was about peacefully spreading the word.

This is patently false.  Muhammad used the sword, not the word, to spread Islam and he taught his followers to do the same.  Additionally, Islam does not mean “peace,” but submission.

If that were not enough, just look back at the fact that both Saudi royals and Iranian mullahs were co-conspirators in the 9-11 attacks.  For more on that, please read Larry Kelley’s pieces here, here and here.

Why we are even still friends with this government is beyond me.

Frankly, I wonder where the authority to approve these sales by the Executive Branch comes from.  I don’t see such authority granted in the Constitution for it.

In fact, defense spending, which is used to purchase some of these arms, is the role of Congress to authorize.  While the use of such arms is certainly determined under the Executive Branch, it makes me wonder if Congress should not be overseeing such sales, especially when it comes to a nation that abides by the Shariah and Islam.

We’re told Congress has 30 days to step in and stop the sale.  They should do so, and they should be hearing our voice with regards to this sale.

Fox added:

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency, part of the U.S. military, said the sale would “contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States” by boosting the capabilities of a key U.S. partner that contributes to “political stability and economic progress in the Middle East.” The agency said the artillery would help the Saudis modernize their military and improve their ability to cooperate with the U.S. military.

Well, I don’t begin to see how it contributes to our foreign policy nor our national security.  I’m not sure I even buy that it contributes to political stability and economic progress in the Middle East.  Perhaps someone could explain in detail how providing a government that believes in the teachings of Muhammad, Sharia and jihad with weapons does any of the things mentioned.  Perhaps there is no explanation and that’s why they threw it out without one.

In addition to the $1.3 billion arms sale, there is also and additional $1 billion in missiles that will also be provided.

This is a recipe for disaster.  Apparently, those in DC just either don’t know it or don’t care at this point.
