Trump Admits He Knew About “Crazy Stormy Daniels Deal” That Michael Cohen Represented Him In

Many will attempt to sweep this under the rug, claiming that President Donald Trump’s alleged adultery with porn star Stormy Daniels was years ago and has no bearing now.  However, keep in mind that the payoff to Daniels occurred during the election season in an attempt to keep it out of the public eye.  At first, Trump lied to the American people that he was not aware of the payments and that there was nothing to the claims.

Now, however, he is singing a different tune.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In a telephone interview with Fox & Friends that Cohen did represent him in the “deal” with Daniels.

“He represents me like with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal, he represented me,” Trump said.

“And, you know, from what I see, he did absolutely nothing wrong,” Trump said. “There were no campaign funds going into this.”

Daniels is now suing Cohen to have the “hush agreement” thrown out.

Following the raid on Cohen’s home, Trump told Fox & Friends, “Michael is a good person.  He’s really a businessman, fairly big business as I understand it.”

“They’re looking at something having to do with his business,” Trump said. “I have nothing to do with his business, I can tell you.”

“I have many attorneys,” Trump went on. “Sadly I have so many attorneys you wouldn’t even believe it.”

Trump also said that Cohen represented him on only a “tiny, tiny little fraction” of his “overall legal work.”

Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, responded to what Trump said in an interview on MSNBC.

Avenatti said that Trump’s comments “directly contradicts” what Trump told reporters on Air Force One, what Michael Cohen has said and what Cohen’s attorney has said.

He hopes that Trump will appear on Fox & Friends every day as long as they are pursuing the case.

Now, what this means is that Trump has basically done the same thing that President Bill Clinton did when he looked at the American people and said, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman,” and later admitted that he had.

Obviously, there is a difference in that Trump didn’t lie under oath about it, which was the issue concerning Bill Clinton.

To be fair, Trump has not admitted to engaging in adultery with Daniels while married to his current wife, Melania.  He’s simply stated that Cohen did represent him in paying her off to keep quiet, which is the exact opposite that he told the American people.

To me, that’s a very big deal, that the president lies to the people, but sadly, we are so used to it that we think it’s commonplace, unless the guy is wearing your particular team’s jersey.

Cohen has also decided to plead the Fifth Amendment in a case brought by Daniels over the agreement.

“His lawyers probably told him to do that,” Trump said. “But I’m not involved and I’ve been told I’m not involved.”

Cohen has asked the court in Los Angeles to delay the proceedings for 90 days because he believes statements that he might make could effect the ongoing criminal investigation into his business dealings in New York.
