Trump Says Ballot Box Is Way To Settle Disagreements – But Voting Doesn’t Do That

On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, President Trump spoke at a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, where he condemned the violence and threat of violent acts following the “interception of explosive devices mailed to prominent Democrats;  but, also spoke more generally about the corrosive tone of today’s politics, ….”  Specifically, he alluded to attacks against Republicans in public places perpetrated by “liberals.”

CNSnews.com reported:

“Any acts or threats of political violence are an attack on our democracy itself,” he told supporters at a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin.

Trump said an “aggressive investigation” was underway into the packages sent to President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others, and that those responsible would be brought to justice, “hopefully very quickly.”

“No nation can succeed that tolerates violence, or the threat of violence, as a method of political intimidation, coercion or control.”

“We want all sides to come together in peace and harmony,” he said. “We can do it.”

“More broadly,” Trump continued, “there’s much we can do to bring our nation together.”

He called for an end to people treating their political opponents as “morally defective” or comparing them to “historical villains.”

(After Trump described himself as a “nationalist” at a rally in Houston earlier this week some critics compared him to Hitler – and not for the first time.)

“We should not mob people in public spaces or destroy public property,” he added. “There is one way to settle our disagreements: it’s called peacefully, at the ballot box.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

He also told the crowd that more debate, not less, was needed on policy issues;  but, citizens could not allow disagreements over policy matters to “tear us apart as a country.”   He emphasized that we should “accept the verdict of elections – and remember that America’s greatest achievements have always been those endeavors we embarked on together.”

As citizens, all Americans should agree that violence and threats of violence are no way to settle any differences regarding policy, political or otherwise.  There should be extensive discussion and debate on both sides to find common ground;  and, if none can be found, citizens should agree to disagree.  However, not all American citizens see it that way as evidenced by the anti-constitutionalists “assaults” against those with opposing viewpoints.  Trump’s suggested one way disagreements can be settled peacefully is through the ballot box.

Washington, DC:  we have a problem.  Citizens have been using the ballot box to no avail.  Those individuals who seek office to represent the citizens in the House and Senate (which should represent the States but doesn’t since ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment), bribe the populace with promises and platforms only to backtrack on those once elected.  President Trump should be familiar with that game since he campaigned on investigating Hillary Clinton and the former administration;  but, the criminal Hillary and the traitor Hussein Soetoro continue to walk around free with Clinton eyeing a 2020 run for president.  The problem is the politician, who should be a Statesman abiding by their oath of office, violating the Constitution with impunity.

Politicians in the Democratic Party have engaged in speech that incites violence.  “Mad Max”ine Waters told individuals at a televised “rally” to gather a crowd and tell Republicans and Trump supporters they are not welcome anywhere anymore.  The criminal Hillary Clinton stated there can be no civility unless Democrats regain power.  Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) issued similar statements.  Any other citizen would find himself or herself sitting in jail awaiting bail while the courts set a date for trial.  The problem is the politicians committing overt crimes with impunity.

As violent mobs amass across the republic engaging in violence and vandalism, those in government do nothing.  How many times have police officers been given a stand-down order by a local government official, allowing anti-constitutionalists to attack Republican and Trump supporters?  There are too many to count.  The lawless mob receives impunity.  If the anti-constitutionalists were being assaulted by their opposition, you can bet your bottom dollar the police would be so busy with arrests the local government would be calling in off-duty officers.  The problem is politicians.

Americans head to the ballot box not to settle their differences, but to elect representatives in government.  Unfortunately, citizens end up voting for the candidate who offers the most “free stuff” or a name the voter recognizes – the Constitution be damned.  When it comes to the political parties, citizens are under the illusion of “choice” when choosing their congressional representatives.  There isn’t much difference in the nature of the political parties since both are interested in power and keeping it.  Both want to move toward a socialist type of government.  The only difference between the parties is the way in which that goal is reached.  So, citizens are essentially voting for the lesser of two evils;  but, they only have the “choice” of evil.  The problem is the politicians who refuse to follow the law of the land.

Each party tries to “out policy” the other.  It is seen in most every election race in the republic.  Candidates, regardless of policy, fail to adhere to the Constitution, which results in a battle of the empty promises and usurpation of the Constitution.  The “choice” citizens have is which politician violates the Constitution the least.  It’s a poor choice.  Name any issue and you can just about repeat each party’s rhetoric from memory – it’s the same with each election cycle because the politicians never intend to “fix” any issue, but “reform” it.

There was no appeal of Obamacare;  but, there were “cuts” made in policy because Republicans couldn’t get their “replacement” fine-tuned enough to pass it.  Citizens hear “immigration reform” because our system is “broken” when in actuality the immigration laws are not fully enforced.  Education reform is needed because States nor local school districts are dumbing down the children enough to transform them into mindless zombie “useless idiots.”  And, with the Democrat Party transformed into full-blown socialism, the offer of “free stuff” exploded so quickly that it should have surprised Republicans.  Alas, it didn’t seem to faze them one bit.  It boils down to the two parties being different sides of the same coin or different cheeks on the same backside.

The people have been reduced to voting either “D” or “R” to determine which path to take to determine the rate at which a socialist, despotic, tyrannical government is implemented.  Democrats force socialism down the throats of the people while Republicans feed it in snack portions covered with a little butter and sugar.  Again, the problem is the politicians.

The politicians engage in a “tit-for-tat” antagonistic campaign platform knowing that they will serve their wealthy elite donor base, special interest groups they support, and big corporations once the election results are finalized.  With the few and limited powers authorized to Congress in the Constitution for the united States of America, these people should not have too much constitutional legislation to pass.  To keep busy, they engage in nefarious activity to gain wealth based upon advanced information received while “legislating” for the big corporations.  The move toward socialism takes an exorbitant amount of legislation to criminalize almost everything before the clock strikes “socialism government implementation complete.”  While the people may elect the members of both chambers of Congress, these elected officials do not perform their duty to “represent” the voters in their district.  Instead, they sell out their constituents to an agenda, big corporations, the United Nations (Agenda 21/2030), illegal alien invaders, and globalists.  The result is the trampling of God-given individual unalienable rights of the people recognized, protected and guaranteed by the Constitution.

If a politician is moving his/her lips, then he/she is lying.  Once again, the politicians are the problem.  They are a problem because they refuse to uphold their oath of office.  Of course, not enough Americans know the Constitution in order to hold a politician to it.  Moreover, too many citizens these days are more interested in being controlled than being free.

The simplistic truth is many citizens have become so lazy they cannot handle freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  It requires one accept responsibility and accountability for one’s actions instead of blaming another, a social group, or the wealthy.  These citizens believe socialism will solve the problem.  So, they push to help implement that failed type of government, even upon citizens who do not want to live in an extremely government controlled existence.  Lazy American citizens and politicians are the problem.

There are other problems that cannot be fixed by the ballot box.  Two well-known and prominent examples are the Deep State and Shadow Government.  The real governance over the people comes from the Deep State and Shadow Government – a group consisting of unelected members deciding what the American citizens can know, possess and exercise.  One could say this unelected bureaucracy is the “stealth deep state/shadow government oligarchy.”  This is definitely a problem, particularly when the lamestream entertainment media surrenders to the Deep State/Shadow Government and becomes a part of the propaganda machine.

This is not a democracy where the majority mob rules over the rest.  We are a constitutional republic where the Constitution is supreme, representatives are elected by majority votes of citizens, and limited government, established by the Constitution, is charged with protecting, securing, and defending God-given individual unalienable rights of the people.  It doesn’t matter if 349 million citizens of the united States want broccoli banned.  If only one person objected, the job of government is to protect that individual’s right to have broccoli.  Moreover, when government violates the constitutional recognized, protected and guaranteed rights of the people, it has to do so by “force.”  That certainly is not freedom, liberty or the pursuit of happiness.

So, differences between the people cannot be settled by the ballot box.  What should happen is politicians stand upon the Constitution, telling anti-constitutionalists their opposition possesses the same rights as they and the Constitution will be respected, upheld and protected.  But, that won’t happen.

What will happen and continue to happen is violent mob rioting in the streets across the republic because they have been paid to do so and instructed by current representatives in the House and Senate to step up the game.  Radical extreme anti-constitutionalists will vie for political office in order to “change” the united States one district, one State, at a time.  The only way to stop this rapid transition is for honest, moral, constitution-supporting, God-fearing individuals to consider running for office and do so.  With the corruption of politicians running deep, “out of the closet” socialists vying for office, and the massive electronic voting machine result manipulation, casting a vote  means voting for the “lesser evil.”  Evil is evil, no matter the election cycle.

Who was it that said, “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?”  Americans keep voting, eventually getting a Republican majority in both chambers along with a Republican president.  While a few positive changes have been forthcoming, it’s still similar to feeding a starving man a peanut every once and awhile.  Unless the citizens begin to focus on upholding the Constitution and elected like officials, even if it means writing in one’s vote, continually voting and expecting either party to change will become an epitome of insanity.
