Trump’s Campaign Manager May Face Prosecutor who is a Hillary Clinton Operative

I’ve got to say that there are some pretty bizarre things that have gone on this election season already and the two WWE parties haven’t even chosen their favorites to battle it out in a winner take all Royal Rumble. Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been charged with battery after an “incident” involving reporter Michelle Fields. However, it has now come to light that the prosecutor that is looking at the case is a member of Hillary Clinton’s campaign team in Florida.

First, let’s review the evidence. To help us do that is the always funny and very poignant Mark Dice. Here, Dice reviews the released security videos of the incident in question, which were released by the Trump campaign, where Michelle Fields is allegedly manhandled by Trump’s campaign manager.

First, this hardly seems to be what Fields claimed it to be, as Dice points out. Second, it’s hardly battery. My goodness, I can imagine that if I got too close to one of the candidates in that type of situation that I wouldn’t be pushed out of the way too. Sorry, that is to be expected, I guess.

However, that is only the preliminary information that anyone should review in the case. The real story we see developing now is that Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg, the man who is considering prosecuting the case against Lewandowski, is a part of a 150-member teams that promotes Hillary Clinton for president, known as the “Florida Leadership Council.”

The Palm Beach Post lists the entire membership team of the Florida Leadership Council in a November 17, 2015 article.

Frankly, when you consider what is going on, you have to conclude that this is nothing more than charges that are politically motivated. I can’t see how this could be considered as battery. In fact, in the video, it’s almost as if Fields is not even phased by what took place.

While Fields and Shapiro, a man for whom I really have a lot of respect, left Breitbart over a lack of support of Fields’ claims, I was sad to see that take place. However, Shapiro is a very intelligent guy so it should not hurt him in the least. I also do understand the sense of not being backed by those who employee you, though I thought senior-editor-at-large for Breitbart News Network Joel Pollak’s piece on the allegations was a true attempt to be fair with the evidence at the time. Remember, at that time the above video was not yet available.

WND adds:

Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg’s office hasn’t yet weighed in on what it will do, Bob McGovern reported in the Boston Herald on Wednesday.

“That’s probably because this high-profile case will be tough to prove in court. In Florida, you have to show that Lewandowski ‘actually and intentionally’ touched Fields against her will.”

McGovern wrote that the “ball is in Aronberg’s court now.”

“And even though he’s a well-known Hillary Clinton supporter, those who know Aronberg’s office say there is little reason to believe he’ll try to score political points by throwing the book at Lewandowski.”

On Wednesday, Aronberg posted the following on his Facebook page.

“Some media outlets have reported that this office has brought charges against Corey Lewandowski, campaign manager for Donald Trump,” Aronberg wrote. “These reports are false. Our office has taken no action against Mr. Lewandowski.”

“The matter was investigated and charged by the Jupiter Police Department, not this office,” he added. “We will await the file from the Jupiter Police Department and make a decision on how to proceed in this matter before Mr. Lewandowski’s May 4th arraignment.”

Aronberg is also listed as a White House fellow in 2000 (that would have been during the terms of Bill Clinton), as well as a Florida state senator.

Frankly, I think Trump’s response about filing charges against Fields because she touched him were ridiculous. However, I’m not convinced and I don’t think any jury would be convinced that there was any battery involved in this much about nothing incident. However, with a Clinton campaign person doing the prosecuting, we could see quite a bit of fireworks come of it.
