Undercover Planned Parenthood Video: Doctor Implies They Murder Surviving Babies
As California Attorney General Xavier Becerra charged pro-life investigative journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) with 15 felony counts related to secret recordings they made that provided evidence of Planned Parenthood’s participation in the illegal trafficking of aborted baby remains, CMP released another damning undercover video of a Planned Parenthood doctor who implied that if a baby survived an attempted murder inside the womb, they would finish the job.
The major new media outlets were quick to report the twisted view of the charges against Daleiden and Merritt, they failed to report on the following video because they are covering for the baby murder mill, Planned Parenthood.
The latest video by CMP is titled “Planned Parenthood Abortionist: ‘Pay Attention to Who’s In the Room’ to Deal With Infants Born Alive.”
Dr. DeShawn Taylor, the previous Medical Director Emerita for Planned Parenthood Arizona, was the focus of the video.
CMP released a statement along with the video on Wednesday.
LOS ANGELES, March 29–New undercover video shows Dr. DeShawn Taylor, previous Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of Arizona and longtime abortion provider at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, graphically describing how to deliver intact fetuses in late-term abortions to harvest high-quality body parts, and indicating possible cover-up of infanticide.
The footage is never-before-released material obtained by The Center for Medical Progress, whose undercover videos recorded top-level Planned Parenthood leaders negotiating the harvesting and sale of the hearts, lungs, livers, and brains of aborted fetuses for financial benefit.
At a networking reception at a Planned Parenthood conference, CMP investigators posing as buyers from a biotech company are introduced to Dr. Taylor by Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services.
Dr. Taylor confirms she does elective abortions on healthy fetuses and pregnant women up to 24 weeks. When the investigators ask her about obtaining intact fetal organs, Dr. Taylor replies, “It’s not a matter of how I feel about it coming out intact, but I gotta worry about my staff and people’s feelings about it coming out looking like a baby.”
She continues, “We have the people who do our paperwork for the fetal death certificates, they email us calling them ‘babies’. Baby this, baby that, baby so-and-so, and I’m like, that’s creepy!”
Taylor said on the undercover video, “In Arizona, if that the fetus is – comes out with any signs of life, we’re supposed to transport it. To the hospital.”
One of the undercover reporters asked, “Is there any standard procedure for verifying signs of life?”
“Well, the thing is, I mean the key is, you need to pay attention to who’s in the room, right?” she answered.
Then after laughing, she points at what Arizona law requires, and says, “It’s a mess. It’s a mess.”
Dr. Taylor then goes on to give her appreciation for feticidal chemical digoxin as the preferred method of murdering the baby in the womb, but says it is not used when the baby’s body parts are going to be sold.
“My biceps appreciate when the dig[oxin] works,” she said, referring to the method of murdering the baby before the standard dismemberment dilation and evacuation abortion.
“I remember when I was a [Family Planning] Fellow and I was training, I was like, Oh, I have to hit the gym for this,” when she described the sensation of dismembering the baby with forceps.
The president of pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List, Marjorie Dannenfelser, condemned the content of the video.
“The abortionist may laugh as she describes the force needed to dismember a five-month-old unborn child struggling to survive, but even the staff are not immune to the terrible sight of aborted children and babies possibly born alive and left to die,” she said. “At Planned Parenthood, these precious children are valued for the profit their organs can bring, but not their lives.”
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, called on Congress to act.
“If Congress needed a wake-up call as to why they need to defund Planned Parenthood – and I would argue they do – then they should take the time to watch this latest video from the Center for Medical Progress,” she said.
“Should they not do everything in their power to defund an organization who would even consider breaking the law by refusing medical attention to a child born alive after a botched abortion depending on who is the room during an abortion?” she added. “And what about the mother – was she ever told that there is a possibility of her child being born alive and made to suffer without comfort or acknowledgment of their humanity?”
CMP Project Lead David Daleiden provided comments on the content of the video.
“This footage shows a longtime Planned Parenthood abortion doctor willing to sell baby parts for profit, use criminal abortion methods to get more intact body parts, and even cover up infanticide,” he said in a statement. “This doctor was trained by Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director of Medical Services, and encouraged by her to participate in the fetal body parts market. This footage is just a preview of the damning and incriminating admissions of Planned Parenthood leaders on our further unreleased tapes, being censored by an unconstitutional gag order from a federal judge in San Francisco.”
“The only difference between Planned Parenthood’s barbaric abortion business, and that of the notorious Dr. Kermit Gosnell, is that Gosnell was not so careful as to ‘pay attention to who’s in the room,’” he added. “Elected officials must stop forcing taxpayers to subsidize Planned Parenthood’s criminal abortion business, and the Department of Justice must immediately open a full investigation and prosecute Planned Parenthood to the fullest extent of the law.”
It is high time that the people start raising their voices and demand not only the defunding of any and all murder mills, but the prosecution of anyone who has a hand in this ghoulish practice, as well as every single politician who is complicit in funding or providing cover for these hitmen and women like Dr. Taylor.
