Unplanned: A Story Of Redemption

When you hear the word mafia, a lot of people think of the movie The Godfather. When I hear words describing organized crime, such as the mob or the mafia, I think of Planned Parenthood, and other medical facilities like them. Since my last article, Supreme Court Did Not Make Abortion The Law Of The Land-They Made Murdering Babies For Money The Lawlessness Of The Land, I went to see the movie Unplanned for a second time. There was so much information presented about Planned Parenthood that I did not think I had absorbed it all by seeing the movie only one time. The more I think about Abby Johnson and the way her life changed, I realized that even though the movie is about the corruption and evil of the baby murder industry, it is also a wonderful story of the redemption we have through Jesus.

As a country, even as a world we need this redemption now more than ever. If we look to the Bible, Paul is a perfect example of the redemption offered by God. Paul first appears in the bible as Saul, a persecutor and killer of Christians. As Saul, Paul thought he was serving God by killing Christians, just as Abby thought she was serving the good of women by helping them kill their babies. What caused both Paul when he was still Saul, and later Abby, to do such evil was they were being deceived. It was not until they both saw the truth and followed the truth that their lives changed. God reached out to Saul when he was on the road to Damascus. In Acts 9:4 Saul fell to the ground when God said to him: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” When he was still Saul, Paul could not imagine that killing Christians was not serving God. Once Saul learned the truth, God renamed him Paul and he went on to serve Jesus. Paul’s transformation and dedication to the truth eventfully led to Paul being imprisoned and killed for serving Jesus. Paul went from a deceived killer of Christians to a follower of truth, and eventually a killed Christian. While Abby is still alive today, her life is still an example of how harmful being deceived can be, and why Christians today need to be dedicated to truth and always on the guard to not be deceived. To guard against being deceived we need to understand deception.

After seeing Unplanned a second time I am still amazed at all the lies and deception that has taken place by Planned Parenthood and other medical facilities. What is even more disappointing is people in America seem to believe that deception and lying are not their problem. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Lies and deception have been a problem in all recorded history. Countries that are prosperous do not tolerate dishonesty; they make laws that punish deception and reward honesty.

The first example of being deceived is in the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 1:31 it says: And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.” God saying something is very good means you are as prosperous as you can get. It was very good until they allowed deception, which eventually led to sin, into their land. In Eden there was only one rule that God had commanded them to follow. In Genesis 2:16-17 God said: “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, “but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” How good can you have it? God gave them everything except one thing. God only made one rule denying them one thing.

Then deception starts happening, in Genesis 3:1 Eve was asked “Did God actually say “You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” So even though they were given everything but one, they were asked if they really had none. That is how it always starts, poor me, “I should have more”. Eve answered that they could eat from all the trees but said that they could not eat from one forbidden tree because they would die. Eve was only telling part of the story. They could not eat from the tree because God had commanded them not too. God made a rule Adam and Eve were expected to obey that rule. Adam and Eve eventually ate the fruit and when God was asking them about it they started making excuses. In verse 12 Adam said: “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” So Adam shifted the blame to God and Eve. Then in verse 13 Eve said: “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So Eve was playing victim too by saying she was deceived. Yes, Eve was deceived. However, it did not matter because Eve was supposed to believe God. If she would have believed God she would not have been deceived.

My point about Adam and Eve is God did not excuse Adam and Eve because they were deceived. God still held them accountable for their doing wrong. Why do Americans think we will avoid disaster by allowing a culture of deception? The movie Unplanned shows numerous victims from their being deceived. The problem is the 60 million babies being murder is actually a symptom of a greater problem.  The babies were murdered because the churches and the people in them let the government ignore the law and allow murders to continue.

America is a country that is supposed to be self-governed, as in ‘we the people” make the rules. People in America continually allow their government to control them by deceiving them. If we demanded truth, we would get truth. All it takes for liars to succeed is for good people to fail to tell the truth. If people stopped voting for people that lie, Congress would be forced to become honest.

The purpose of the transgender issue is to force people to accept deception. You are being groomed so that you not only accept deception, but participate in deception. Is anyone speaking out against it? We are supposed to believe America’s medical system can be trusted, but they allow men to claim they are women, and women to claim they are men. The American Medical System also buys the body parts that Planned Parenthood sells after they murder babies. If you believe the deceiver, you are as much of the problem as the deceiver. The story of Adam and Eve makes that perfectly clear.

Even people who do not believe in God should realize that a dishonest society cannot function. If your employer promises to pay you for working, and is allowed not to, how long can you function? If you pay for your groceries and they do not give them to you, how many times can they do that before you have no food and no money?

In the movie Unplanned they showed how women are seriously injured and Planned Parenthood hides the fact that they are hurting people. Planned Parenthood being allowed to hurt people and never being held accountable has obviously corrupted the rest of the medical industry. The opioid epidemic is one symptom of a medical industry that cares more about money than helping people. What is their answer to all this corruption? They want to censor the people that expose those committing the injuries. Hiding the corruption is never a solution to corruption. One thing is for sure, we should not trust anyone that refuses to behave honestly. Calling for censorship is proof they are not honest.

Look at Obama care, peoples’ premiums doubled as their deductibles tripled. The insurance companies get double the money and make three times as sure that you get nothing. How honest is that? Do doctors prefer dealing with insurance companies because they do not have to answer to you? The problem is that we really cannot believe anyone anymore. Since our culture has become so corrupt the answer is not to trust any of our institutions.

In the movie Unplanned, a lawyer had a slogan, “You get what you deserve.” That is proving true. Americans have allowed their medical institutions to repeatedly lie to them. Americans have been lied to for so long that over 60 million babies have been killed by doctors. They claim they know when babies are not human, but we should know when they claim that they are lying.

Tobacco companies used to run ads such as Dr. Batty’s asthma cigarettes, which, “Effectively treats: asthma, hay fever, foul breath, all disease of the throat, head colds, canker sours [sic], bronchial irritations.” The medical community wants you to never know, or forget about their endorsing cigarettes back then. They want you to believe they are honest and brilliant now. When they claim they have studies that prove what they are selling is good, ask who got paid to do the studies. What is different about these studies and the studies they used so they could be paid to endorse cigarettes and claim smoking was healthy.

Everyone is afraid of upsetting the wicked people that will throw a tantrum if we do not praise them for doing wicked things. No one is afraid of upsetting the Christians by behaving wickedly. That is our fault not theirs. People are going to do what we tolerate. Jesus did not tolerate bad behavior in Mathew 21:12 -13 “And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.” Jesus did not tolerate bad behavior why do we?

During the time of Jesus being on earth, Rome was very corrupt. They had things like Moloch worship. They had a huge hollow statue of Moloch and they would build a hot fire inside the belly of Moloch. People would bring their babies and throw them into the fire in Moloch as a human sacrifice. They were told that killing their children by sacrificing them to Moloch would solve their problems. Today Planned Parenthood tells people that paying them to kill their children will solve their problems.

Christians in their churches today should be telling people to change their behavior to solve their problems. We need to tell of the redemption offered by giving up deception and following truth. The truth of Jesus can be found in the Bible. Churches should not be trying to make unsaved people feel comfortable living in their deception and following sin. Churches need to tell the message and the importance of truth, and the redemption and transformation that should follow.

Our culture has become one where people search the internet for anything in peoples past that can be used to destroy the person’s life and career. Jesus offers the message, that no matter how bad you have been in the past, you can come to him and be good in the future. Give up deception, follow truth. As Jesus said in John8:32: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The answer is redemption and transformation, transform the people, it will change the country – transform the country it will change the world.
