VA Governor Signs Executive Order to Shut Out Businesses not in Favor of Homosexuality

It is one thing to say that you want to be fair to all people. If you wish to treat every person the same, then I have to say that I am with you all the way. However, if you say that we are going to include all unless they disagree with you or me, then you have just become the thing that you wish to get rid of in our society.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe does not have the foresight to see the inconsistency in his latest executive order. If he does, then his intolerance of Christians is harsh to say the least.

Christian News reports:

The Democratic governor of Virginia has signed an executive order requiring the state to only enter into government contracts with businesses and organizations that have policies in favor of homosexuality, effectively banning Christian entities and others from working with the state.

“It is hereby ordered as the policy of the Executive Branch that it will only contract with those who abide by the non-discrimination policies set forward in Executive Order 1 (2014), namely that discrimination on the basis of race, sex, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, political affiliation, disability, or veteran status is prohibited,” Executive Order 61, signed by Terry McAuliffe on Jan. 5, reads in part.

The worst part of this is the fact that McAuliffe thinks that he is doing this to make Virginia more tolerant, but he has accomplished just the opposite. Virginia is now more discriminatory than it has ever been.

With this law, more people will be banned from government contracts. This will mean that those who do not plan to have unisex bathrooms and allow men to dress as women will be excluded from doing business with the state of Virginia.

When the state runs out of people to work with, and they lack basic services and jobs, we will see the foolishness of this move.
