“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security…” –Declaration of Independence
Many in this country do not realize that the only recourse that we have left against corruption is to literally sue them for their transgressions against “We the People.” It comes to this point when the people do not realize that they are the government and those that represent them derive their just powers from the consent of the governed.
Americans have forgotten that representatives are to work for them and not the other way around. The American people have left off the US Constitution in understanding that they do, in fact, have the power to remove these people (Article 2, Section 4) and to prosecute them (Article 12, Section 3, Clause 7).
Furthermore, most know, as well as I do, that corrupt politicians are not going to bring each other to justice (Mark 6:21). The devil doesn’t do that unless he has no further need for these minions (John 8:44).
Obviously, the people in this country are coming to the end of their peak of tolerance level when they consistently see attacks on small businesses.
I don’t need to go into detail when most know that the government is releasing thousands of criminals back out into the streets, therefore, endangering the innocent while attacking the Church (Psalm 94:20).
These tyrants are attempting to quarantine businesses and yet, the politicians calling for the quarantines are somehow exempt (Matthew 23:3).
They even going so far as to pay snitches to turn in their neighbors if they resist and defy tyranny (Matthew 10:21).
Hopefully, in Minnesota, though we see this beginning to happen on a nationwide basis, we hope that we are seeing the reign of tyranny by the said Governor Tim Walz coming to an end.
A Minnesota small business owner told “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday that Gov. Tim Walz left “small businesses suffering” and that is why she and other business owners sued the governor.
The lawsuit accuses the governor of overstepping his authority over his use of emergency powers in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Gov. Walz said that we’re a nonessential business, when he left other businesses like Walmart [and] Target open,” Larvita McFarquhar, who was one of several business owners challenging a series of executive orders from Walz that forced them to temporarily shut down, said.
McFarquhar, who owns a restaurant as well as a dance studio and gymnastics center, went on to say that all three of her businesses were forced to close because of the governor’s orders and she “couldn’t make an income or living doing anything.”
“The governor has acted like a drunk monarch because he has not been following any of the rules,” McFarquhar’s attorney Erick Kaardal said.
“Rather than working with the legislature, the agencies and the judges, he’s just doing his own thing.”
“He issued 75 executive orders,” Kaardal continued, adding that “he’s issuing them like a tissue.”
“It’s just ridiculous,” he said. “We can’t even keep up with him. He refuses to work with anyone else. It’s a lack of leadership.”
The good news here is that people are beginning to move in the direction that establishes justice, which is enforcing the laws that are being transgressed. This is the same justice that has been left off far too long, which is destroying our freedoms (Amos 6:3).
