What Would You Attempt To Do If You Knew You Could Not Fail?

I do not believe in coincidence.  I believe in the Divine, Providential hand of God in our lives.  These are some dangerous times in which we live.  It is easy to be fearful and overwhelmed with all that is going on in our country today and around the world.  However, we can choose to be paralyzed by fear, or we can let the circumstances around us move us to action.

The Chinese take the word “crisis” as having either one or two meanings. It can either mean “danger” or “opportunity” depending on how you look at it. Right now, I think we have one of the best “opportunities” ever to bring Christ to the world and to restore our nation back unto Him.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Joshua 1:9 says, “Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”  We have a choice. We can either choose to obey the Lord’s commands and trust that He is with us every step of the way leading us and guiding us by the Holy Spirit and His providential hand, or we can stand back and watch our country be destroyed by those who mean to see its ruin.

Just as George Washington, John Adams, and Ben Franklin were meant to be born at specifically the right time here on this earth during the Revolutionary War, and just as Martin Luther King Jr. was sent forth as a prophet to the nation during the perilous times in our country between blacks and whites, so you were born for such a time as this.

Just as David was meant to take the head off Goliath and just as Daniel was meant to see the glory of God as he obeyed the commandments of the Lord and his life was spared in the lion’s den, so you too, were born for such a time as this.

Just as Esther risked her life to go before the king to save the lives of her people and just as Moses went to the face of Pharaoh and demanded him to let the children of Israel go, so also were you specifically born also for such a time as this!

God does not make mistakes and He did not make a mistake with you.  Esther 4:14 says, “…and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”  I know who knows, God does.  The only question is, how are you going to respond to the opportunity you’ve been given to change the lawless course of this nation?  Will you do nothing?  Or will you not only pray, but act upon those prayers and let your works (or actions) show the world your faith?  Remembering that faith without works is dead (James 2:17).

It was Martin Luther King Jr. who rightfully said, “The time is always right to do the right thing.” It’s not a matter of what you feel comfortable with or what you want to do, it’s a matter of what will you do?  A man once said that, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward. -Martin Luther King Jr.

Remember, with God, all things are possible to those who believe! (Matthew 19:26) You were born for such a time as this!
