This morning, I woke up with several messages in my inbox (I get 200-300 every day), and as I was going through each one of them, I saw a video that caught my attention. Why did it catch my attention? I know not, but I am glad that it did.
I want to tell you why I was glad that it did. For the 22 years that I have been in the ministry, it has been my great wonder as to why so many in the American Church are filled with hirelings (John 10:12), counterfeits (2 Corinthians 11:14-15), pretenders (Matthew 23) and frauds-betrayers (Luke 22:48). I want to know where those who have gone in the faith before me are (Hebrew 13:7), where the wise men are in my generation.
The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them? (Jeremiah 8:9)
Well, to my spiritual blessing and pleasure, there was still someone that was sticking to Scripture and seeing things through a different lens (Matthew 13:16).
Now, after I clicked to watch this particular video, a Rev. Danny Jones from Northlake Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia was preaching on 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
He was so thorough in his teaching on current events I was almost in shock. This guy is nailing it. It came across as prophetic confirmations of how we at The Sons of Liberty – YouTube have been led by the same Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14). Without further ado, enjoy!
