Obama’s Radical Speech at Jihad-Terror Tied ISB Mosque in Baltimore: “Muslims Keep Us Safe”

In the wake of the San Bernardino, Chattanooga, Paris and Garland jihad attacks, President Obama visited a radical mosque in Baltimore today.

“An attack on one religion is an attack on all religions,” Obama says as he visits a U.S. mosque for the first time as president.

Pathetic. The only religion attacking, subjugating and slaughtering members of other religions en masse is Islam. The religion attacking other religions is Islam. President Obama speaks nothing of this. Gender apartheid, creed apartheid, cultural annihilation, jihad wars, and enslavement is raging across the world under his presidency. And yet Obama proselytizes for Islam.

“For more than a thousand years people have been drawn to Islam’s message of peace” Obama says of Islam.

He neglects to mention that it is at the end of a sword.

He gives Hollywood his marching orders: “Our TV shows should have some Muslim characters that are unrelated to national security,” “It’s not that hard to do.”

The Islamic Society of Baltimore is providing copies of the Quran to participants at Obama’s speech.

Obama’s stunning silence on Christian genocide, yezidi genocide, Islamic Jew hatred is criminal and inhumane.

“Muslim Americans keep us safe,” Obama says as he visits a U.S. mosque for the first time as president. “They are our police. They are our fire fighters. They’re in Homeland Security.”

No one takes issue with law-abiding, peaceful Muslims. But there are millions of Muslim waging jihad in the cause of Allah. What about them? And why is opposition to jihad terror labeled “anti-Muslim”?

As for the Muslims working at Homeland Security, how have they been vetted. If appointing Muslim Brotherhood operative Mohamed Elibiary a senior member of DHS’ Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), then we have serious problems.

CNN reports:

“Muslim Americans keep [sic] up safe,” Obama told the audience, crediting the contributions Muslims have made to communities. “They are our police. They are our fire fighters. They’re in (the Department of) Homeland Security.”

At the Islamic Society of Baltimore, a 47-year-old mosque with thousands of attendees, Obama heralded the contributions of Muslims to American society while issuing a forceful counterpoint to the language favored by some Republican presidential candidates like Donald Trump, according to White House officials.

“We’ve seen an alarming willingness on the part of some Republicans to try to marginalize law-abiding, patriotic Muslim Americans,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters Tuesday. “It’s just offensive to a lot of Americans who recognize that those kinds of cynical political tactics run directly contrary to the values that we hold dear in this country. And I think the President is looking forward to the opportunity to make that point.”

Obama has visited mosques in the past, but never inside the United States, which is home to 2.75 million Muslims, according to the Pew Research Center. Many Muslim groups have called for him to schedule a stop at a U.S. mosque as a public rejection of Islamophobia, the same way President George W. Bush did in the days after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

But for Obama, who continues to be dogged by conspiracy theories that suggest he himself is a Muslim (Obama is a Christian), a stop at an Islamic center proved far more complicated the first seven years of his term. A CNN/ORC poll in September found that 29% of Americans said they believed Obama was a Muslim, including 43% of Republicans.

The fact is Obama was born a Muslim. His father was a Muslim and his adoptive father, Lolo Soetoro was a Muslim. Under Islamic law, Obama is a Muslim. And he want to Quran school and studied Islam as a young boy.

The Muslim world considers Obama Muslim because according to the sharia he is a Muslim. Get over it, CNN.

Any thoughts of putting all the males upstairs, out of view of Obama?

In his final year in office, however, Obama has sought to use his public platform — however waning — to advocate against what he sees as dangerous threads in the political discourse.

“The President’s trip is extremely timely. It couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Farhana Khera, the executive director of Muslim Advocates, who cited an uptick in vandalism at mosques, and violence against Muslims entering and exiting places of worship, as indications the time was right for a presidential visit.

During a meeting with Muslim community leaders in December, Khera lobbied top Obama aides, including senior adviser Valerie Jarrett and Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, to schedule a visit for Obama to a U.S. mosque, an event the White House moved quickly to produce.

Yes, very quickly. FBI statistics do not bear out this myth. Antisemitic hate crimes is approaching 60% while anti-Muslim hate crime hovers at 15%. Where is Obama’s public posturing against anti-semitism? And how much of that anti-Muslim, mosque vandalism committed by Muslims? A good percentage. The FBI ought to pull those figures.

And why this mosque? A known radical mosque with jihad-terror related ties?

You’ll have to forgive our skepticism, but we cannot imagine that President Obama randomly selected the Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB) mosque for the first such visit in his official capacity as head of state.

Perhaps we are being overly generous, but his national security team must have spent considerable time and energy reviewing its leadership, relationships and history prior to the announcement over the weekend.

In the process of due diligence, they should have learned that ISB leaders financially and ideologically support radical Islamist terrorists and hate homosexuals. It is a controversial choice of venue for a roundtable focused on tolerance, rejecting bigotry and celebrating religious freedom.

If the White House truly believes that the ISB represents the acceptable mainstream practice of Islam in America, it suggests a much larger issue with radicalism in the U.S.

In 2014, two ISB officials — President Muhammad Jameel and General Secretary Abid Husain — joined with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in a news conference where they denounced Israeli for committing “genocide in the name of self-defense” in Gaza, when it was in fact the murderous Hamas terror organization launching rockets at Israel from heavily populated civilian areas.

CAIR was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, which resulted in the largest terrorist money-laundering conviction in U.S. history. The FBI terminated its formal relationship with CAIR in 2008 over its ongoing status as a front for Hamas.

Why would Obama confer legitimacy on a mosque that joins forces with a terrorist front group? Would he visit a church that welcomed the KKK as a political partner?

Mohamad Adam el-Sheikh, a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood and lmam of the ISB for 18 years, endorsed Palestinian suicide bombings in a 2004 Washington Post interview. El-Sheikh also served as regional representative for the Islamic African Relief Agency — which the U.S. Treasury Department shut down for funding Osama bin Laden and other terrorists — while serving as ISB Imam and director.

Soon after Sept. 11, 2001, the ISB hosted American-born al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, whose inflammatory sermons are among the most effective online recruiting tools for jihad.

Does Obama condone advocating violence against the Jewish people? Does he think that it presents less of a complication than “Islamophobia,” a fabricated term designed to portray murderous Islamist extremists as victims and to silence their critics?

The president famously “evolved” on the issue of same-sex marriage during his 2012 re-election campaign. Did he now evolve to where he can accept resident ISB scholar Yaseen Shaikh‘s 2013 description of homosexuality as a psychological disorder?

Does Obama even believe that radical Islam is a problem?

The administration at its highest levels regularly engages with groups connected to the most menacing elements of Islam, including domestic and international representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood. It recently invited a CAIR official who accused the FBI of killing two men in cold blood in separate incidents to the White House to participate in a forum on religious discrimination.

His White House banned the words “radical Islam” from administration dialogue and deleted any text that might offend Muslims from the FBI training manual. Obama refused to discuss Islamist terror following the massacre in San Bernardino, Calif., despite all evidence indicating it as the motivating factor. The words “radical Islam” were also absent in his statement soon after the mass murder in Paris.

Recognizing radical Islam as a problem would start with acknowledging that it exists.

The president endorses the ISB and Muslim groups with radical Islamist connections at the expense of welcoming moderates who recognize the difficulties of American Islamism, such as Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, into the conversation.

Jasser, who is the president of the American-Islamic Forum for Democracy, on Fox News Channel said that “as an American-Muslim, I am just insulted” by the venue.

Obama’s actions will speak much more loudly than his carefully scripted words on Wednesday.

Religious tolerance will always remain a pillar of America’s founding principles. Political violence as espoused by the ISB and mosques trafficking in similar extremist ideology never will be. It is unfortunate that the president cannot seem to distinguish between the two.

UPDATE:  Thanks to Robert Spencer:

“Obama rebuts anti-Muslim rhetoric in first U.S. mosque visit,” by Kevin Liptak, PJ Media, February 3, 2016:

(CNN)Seeking to rebut what he views as perilous election-year bombast about Muslims, President Barack Obama is at a mosque in Baltimore on Wednesday, his first visit to such a site in the United States.

“Muslim Americans keep up safe,” Obama told the audience, crediting the contributions Muslims have made to communities. “They are our police. They are our fire fighters. They’re in (the Department of) Homeland Security.”

And remember: none of them were screened for jihadi sympathies. To have done so would have been “Islamophobic,” and transgressed against the prevailing dogma that Islam is a Religion of Peace that non-Muslims are wrong and bigoted to be concerned about.

And I think the President is looking forward to the opportunity to make that point.”…

Trump and Carson actually made no attempt to “marginalize law-abiding, patriotic Muslim Americans.” They were trying to offer solutions to what the Obama Administration won’t even admit is a problem. Carson pointed out, quite correctly, that there are elements of Sharia that contradict Constitutional principles. Trump said there should be a temporary halt to Muslim immigration until we figure out a way to distinguish jihadis from peaceful Muslims. No one who has criticized him for proposing this has offered a plan to do that.

This suspicion persists after seven years of his presidency not because of bigotry, but because he so consistently and repeatedly advances the Muslim Brotherhood agenda, to the rage and chagrin of Egyptian protesters against the Morsi regime in 2013, has made a series of disastrous concessions to Iran, has bullied Israel, and has spoken positively about Islam on numerous occasions while criticizing Christianity.

It was Farhana Khera who in 2010 wrote the letter to John Brennan demanding that counter-terror training materials be scrubbed of all mention of Islam and jihad. Brennan complied.

“Coming to a mosque is a public reminder that Muslims have been part of America since our nation’s founding,” Khera said. “My hope is that he may view this as an occasion to send the message that mosques are not breeding grounds for terrorism. This is not where ISIS is recruiting. Law enforcement sources tell us ISIS is recruiting online, not in our mosques.”…

San Bernardino jihad murderer Syed Rizwan Farook was active in his mosques, as was Garland would-be jihad killer Ibrahim Simpson. Four separate studies since 1998 have shown that 80% of mosques in the U.S. are indeed “breeding grounds for terrorism”: Sheikh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani visited 114 mosques in this country before giving testimony before a State Department Open Forum in January 1999 that 80% of American mosques taught the “extremist ideology.” Then there was the Center for Religious Freedom’s 2005 study, and the Mapping Sharia Project’s 2008 study. Each independently showed that upwards of 80% of mosques in America were preaching hatred of Jews and Christians and the necessity ultimately to impose Islamic rule.

In the subsequent years, however, new fears of homegrown attacks have emerged following the rise of ISIS and its dexterity in recruiting would-be terrorists online. Republican candidates have vowed to apply extra scrutiny to Muslims entering the country, and to tamp down on suspected extremist activities at U.S. mosques.

Those plans have earned Obama’s ire. Along with his aides, Obama consistently groups much of the GOP field with the most outspoken proponent for religious screening, Trump. In December Trump proposed banning all Muslims from entering the country until better anti-terror measures were enacted….

He proposed to end Muslim immigration. He didn’t say anything about barring Muslim citizens from returning to the U.S.

Obama’s response has been scathing, including remarks late last week at a retreat for Democratic lawmakers.

“We’re not going to strengthen our leadership around the world by allowing politicians to insult Muslims or pit groups of Americans against each other. That’s not who we are. That’s not keeping America safe,” Obama said, describing Republican rhetoric as “phony tough talk and bluster and over-the-top claims.”
