Only One Week, Americans

“The strength of the Constitution lies entirely in the determination of each citizen to defend it. Only if every single citizen feels duty bound to do his share in this defense are the constitutional rights secure.” -Albert Einstein

How long would it take the American people to clean house, namely corrupt church and government officials (John 8:44)?  After all, this is what Americans are complaining about on a 24-7 basis, is it not?

How long would it take to turn this country around back to its original foundation? Why do “We the People” allow corruption? Imagine for a moment with me what our country would be like if the American people took one week to lawfully deal with corruption in the American church and government.  If corruption was lawfully dealt with (Isaiah 51:4) and the media reports were held to the truth of each matter, we would have a different country in a short period of time.

Though with many people, it seems that all hope is lost, this should not be the case (Hebrews 12:2). Corrupt politicians in the government today equal less than 1% of the United States population. There are over 325.7 million people in the United States that can stop corruption if they would lawfully see it through to justice.

Saying that this country can be changed in a week is not an over exaggeration.  It truly can be done.  Americans just need to mean what they say and deal with the issues at hand. The corrupt not want you to catch on to what they are doing because they know that if you, the American people, hold them accountable for their slightest infractions against our laws (Article 2, Section 4, US Constitution), they will be out of a job and jailed.

Let’s stop talking about change, and let’s start bringing about change (James 2:14-26).

Americans, we can do this as one nation under God (Psalm 33:12).  Remember this, United we stand or divided we fall.
