7 Killed In Chicago & Texas – Media Focuses Only On Texas

As the Labor Day weekend continues, 7 people were shot in Texas and in Chicago.

The media has reported incessantly on the shooting in Texas, which killed 7 people, while beating the drum for gun control and attacking local Republican politicians, but has treated the Chicago shootings, which also killed 7 people as a local crime story.

The Texas shootings are unusual. These sorts of killings are however routine weekend violence in Chicago.

Seven people, including a 17-year-old boy, are dead and at least 20 others were injured in shootings across Chicago this Labor Day weekend.

No nationwide media coverage.

No hysterical shrieks that we need urgent action.

No detailed coverage of the fate of the victims.

The media only covers stories because they serve a political agenda. Black lives don’t matter. Only media agendas do.
