The term “whistleblower” is thrown around a lot these days, but Philip Haney was a man who actually exemplified it, coming forward with vital information that made a real difference despite the personal cost.
I was proud to consider Philip a friend. I would often hear from him, a reminder, a pointer, and I would run into him at events dealing with terrorism and the fight for this country’s freedoms.
His was an important voice that has been tragically silenced.
Philip was also a proud Jewish person whose convictions informed his actions. His life was guided by principled courage, and the information he provided shed a vital light on the political suppression of the truth about Islamic terrorism and the betrayal of America.
His voice will be sorely missed.
