Ernie Walters

Ernie Walters is a proud husband of Karen and the father of three sons and a daughter. Currently, he pastors Roberdel Baptist Church in Rockingham, NC. "When I think back over my life, it amazes me at how generous God has been towards me. I truly believe that I am the richest man I know. Certainly not by material standards, I own precious little, but according to what has been given to me. My wife and I have been through tremendous highs and lows, yet she remains with me. We've endured financial disaster and health issues but by far, the most difficult of all has been the drowning of our son Mathew. "If not for our faith in Christ, which He has galvanized over the years, I don't believe either of us would have kept our sanity. When I look at my family, I realize there is nothing that can compare to them. Since Mathew has changed his address to 'Heaven', God has given us a precious daughter. One day, our family will once again be able to all stand together, hand in hand and face to face. We are so looking forward to that. Until then, I have devoted my life to sharing and teaching to the utmost of my ability, of the Awe and Splendor of God. I believe it is why I was put on earth.
