“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.” Isaiah 30:1-3
Recently I saw this video of a pastor, or at least he would have you believe that he was one (Jeremiah 23), that was crying over President Donald Trump to be restored.
Pastor Robert Henderson sobs as he begs God to ensure that Trump “shall be reseated as president of the United States of America.”
An emotional Henderson declared:
We petition the courts and we ask, Lord, that as it is written in the books of Heaven, as it has been ordained in the counsels of Heaven, that President Donald J. Trump shall be reset and shall be reseated as the president of the United State of America.
You, Lord, will arise and you will cause my president [breaks down crying] — my president, Donald J. Trump [more crying], to be reset and to be reseated, Jesus… Would you grant that it be done, Lord?
Putting man in the place of Christ brings a curse (Jeremiah 17:5, 23).

On top of the fact that what Donald Trump has been promising the American people, he has, in fact, been doing just the opposite (Matthew 7:16).
If the Church were to judge men by their fruit rather than by what their favorite politicians say, they could see clearly as to the corruption of this current administration (Mark 8:15).
Instead of holding to the Word of God and condemning his lies, the American Church promotes him and his lies, and that to their own demise (Psalm 9:16-17).
I have to tell you, friends, from reading Foxes Book of Martyrs, it sounded all too familiar.
“The Jews, who heard and rejected Christ, were destroyed by Titus, and Vespasian his father, in 70 AD, about 40 years after the passion of the Christ, to the number of eleven hundred thousand, besides those who Vespasian slew in the subduing of Galilee.
Seventeen thousand were sold into Egypt and other provinces to vile slavery; and two thousand were brought with Titus in his triumph; of whom, part he gave to be devoured of wild beasts, part otherwise most cruelly were slain.
And why? The vain senate of Rome, after being proposed to have Christ adored as God, rejected Him.
Being content to have the emperor reign over them rather than the meek King of glory, the Son of God, they were scourged and trapped for their unjust refusing.
For, as they preferred the emperor, and rejected Christ, so the just permission of God stirred up their own emperors against them in such sort, that the senators themselves were almost destroyed, and the whole city most horribly afflicted for the space of almost 300 years.”
Well, some might say how does that apply to our current state in America? I answer: It is exactly what is happening once again. History is repeating itself to those who will not correct themselves (Leviticus 26:14-46).
In conclusion: They hail the current administration and claim that he is a Christian all the while knowing that it goes no further than his profession (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).
If the people in this country were truly committed to Christ the way that they say that they are (Hebrews 12:2), they would no more accept this president as a Christian than they would the devil himself.
