Berlin: 12 Killed in Muslim Jihad Truck Attack

It is not entirely clear what has happened in Berlin. The German authorities are still investigating what looks to be another Islamist attack. A truck drove through a crowded Christmas market leaving several dead and many more injured.

Breitbart reports:

A large truck has stormed through a Christmas market in the German capital of Berlin killing nine people and injuring many others. One person has been arrested.

The person arrested seems sure to be the driver, and there is also a person found inside the truck. Apparently shot. But it is not clear if he was shot before the incident or during. In either case, it seems that the evidence is leaning toward this having been an attack.

Fox reports:

Police said a suspect believed to be the driver was arrested nearby and a passenger was dead. Authorities estimated that 50 people were injured, but an exact number was not immediately available.

Mike Fox, a tourist from Birmingham, England, told The Associated Press at the scene in Berlin that the large truck missed him by about three meters as it drove into the market, tearing through tables and wooden stands.

“It was definitely deliberate,” Fox said. Fox said he helped people who appeared to have broken limbs, and that others were trapped under Christmas stands.

Though no one had officially claimed responsibility for this act of cowardice, it is growing more likely the more we learn that one of the main terror groups will soon.
