Bill Nye, The Science Guy: I can see why “Climate Change Deniers” should be Designated as Criminals

It is bad enough that we have has been rock stars who most people thought were dead entering the political fray, but a never has been scientists speaking on our penal code. It is like all of a sudden because you taught kids what temperature water freezes and boils you are the poster boy for the science community.

This would actually fit once we realize that it is a false scientist seeking to promote false science. Bill Nye is a big proponent of Global Warming. He believes that man is responsible for this and believes that we should make drastic changes to the way we live to reverse the effects. But, you never would guess how drastic.

The Washington Post reports:

Bill Nye “the science guy” says in a video interview released Thursday that he is open to the idea of jailing those who deviate from the climate change consensus

“Was it appropriate to jail the guys from Enron?” Mr. Nye asked in a video interview with Climate Depot’s Marc Morano. “We’ll see what happens. Was it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that this addictive product was not addictive, and so on?”

So, if a scientist comes out and publishes a paper or begins to reveal research that there is no such thing as manmade climate change, Nye would have the state throw him in jail. This is something out of an Ayn Rand novel. In fact, it was the very reason she said that government and science should not mix. But back to Nye.

The Times continued:

“In these cases, for me, as a taxpayer and voter, the introduction of this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen,” Mr. Nye said. “So I can see where people are very concerned about this, and they’re pursuing criminal investigations as well as engaging in discussions like this.”

Now, would you think that this would have any effect on scientific research? Well, of course, it would. What scientist who had a family and career would risk that to speak the truth or even do research. When others warn of this cooling of scientific research, you will not believe the answer Nye gives.

About the potential for a “chilling effect,” Mr. Nye said, “That there is a chilling effect on scientists who are in extreme doubt about climate change, I think that is good.”

“The extreme doubt about climate change people — without going too far afield here — are leaving the world worse than they found it because they are keeping us from getting to work. They are holding us back,” Mr. Nye said in a post on Climate Depot, a project of the free market, nonprofit Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow.

So Nye would have us roll up our sleeve, imprison dissenters, and ignore the fact that over and over the numbers have shown this to be pseudo-science. If you think that this thought control will stop with this subject you are sadly mistaken.

And if you doubt that this is a political hoax to separate you from your money, watch this video.
