What Criminals Will the Criminal-In-Chief Pardon Before He Leaves Office? “I do think a pardon for Huma and Weiner might happen”

It appears that the criminal and usurper-in-chief Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah has a lot of things that he is going to do to ensure that more lawlessness abounds in his final days in the White House. With more executive orders, pardons and “midnight” regulations on the table, America would be wise to keep an eye on this guy. One wonders if buried among the pardons we might even discover his own name and that of his partners in crime.

The Washington Times reports:

As President Obama runs out the clock on his eight-year tenure, analysts say, he still has plenty of business left undone, and they expect him to follow the lead of other presidents and issue a series of rules, to add to his list of executive orders, to continue his record-setting pace of commutations and perhaps add a controversial pardon or two into the mix.

“I do think a pardon for Huma and Weiner might happen,” said Michael McKenna, a Republican lobbyist, referring to Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony D. Weiner, whose emails are being scoured by the FBI for wrongdoing.

Truly lame-duck presidents are freed from political concerns, don’t have to worry about other elections and can even help take political heat off their successor — or try to lock in their own policies that their successor might not fully support.

For Mr. Obama, who already has set records for the most expansive regulatory agenda in U.S. history, his final months offer a chance to pad his lead and plow new ground, particularly on energy and environmental issues.

According to Sam Batkins, director of regulatory policy at the American Action Forum, Obama is sitting on several regulations pertaining to renewable fuels and methane.

“It’s easily in the billions of dollars,” he said.

William G. Howell, a political scientist at the University of Chicago added, “What we’ve seen in the past is when the outgoing president is replaced by somebody from the opposition party, then in the waning months of their presidency there’s a burst of regulatory and rule-making activity.”

This then leads to executive orders.

The Congressional Research Service said in a study of presidential transitions, “Executive orders suit the needs of an outgoing president who wants to establish or change policy, or is striving to secure his legacy.”

On Tuesday morning, Obama granted clemency to 102 prison inmates with a stroke of a pen, most of whom were allegedly engaged in non-violent violations involving drugs. Frankly, I’m against imprisoning people over drugs. The War on Drugs has been nothing but a racket and a means of violating the rights of citizens and taking their property.

However, what most people don’t understand is that many of the executive orders that are issued do not fall under the authority granted by the Constitution. In fact, many of them are blatantly unconstitutional. As Obama would have you think he has not abused his power and written that many executive orders, the record bears out that he has written more than any other president prior to him.

Many would do well to understand just what the Constitution allows the president to do and what it grants absolutely no authority to do and begin holding these men to the standard of the law, whether they are Democrat, Republican or a member of any other party.
