Liberal America has a lot of preconceived (and wrong) notions about guns and crime in America. When John Stossel was at ABC working for 20/20 he did a wonderful segment on guns and gun control in America and the myths that many of us have come to believe because of the propaganda being spewed by the liberal media.

Don’t let your liberal friends fool you, folks – gun control laws have NEVER helped lower crime statistics in America. However, as gun rights have become more prevalent across the country over the last 20 years, our crime rates and violent crime rates have been dropping dramatically. Today may be the freest we’ve been to own and carry firearms in the last 50 – 60 years, and crime has dropped to negligible levels in most places where gun ownership is lightly regulated.
