While many Americans are finalizing their taxes for a corrupt Internal Revenue Service that targets many based on their political views, many more are fed up with the federal government’s overreach of its Constitutional boundaries in general. Many Americans are fed up as I mentioned in a previous article regarding new technology that will allow them to work together in order to fight an out of control federal government. While many are promoting an Article V convention, which is encompassed from a wide variety of people across the spectrum, whose proponents have put for amendments which would in many ways legalize current unconstitutional acts, there is a more simple solution. According to AmericaAgain!, the solution is to ratify the original First Amendment, which would become the 28th Amendment to the US Constitution.
AmericaAgain!, a Texas-based membership organization, is launching history’s first crowdfunding project designed to benefit all Americans. Dubbed ‘Fear The People’, the three-phase project launches April 15, outside of U.S. postal facilities in California, Florida, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Texas. Its crowdfunding website, www.FearThePeople.us, launches on Thursday, April 16.

In his new book, founder David Zuniga suggests that Americans today have more opportunity than ever to turn the tables on Washington DC. “For over 150 years, Washington D.C. has operated as organized crime, making us pay the bills for the whole mess,” Zuniga says. “Now, for the first time since 1776, We The People have more power over our future than the king does, but we don’t realize it yet. Washington D.C. is a dinosaur. Our crowdfunding campaign helps Americans stop fearing conspiracy theories and start using social networking to turn the tables on arrogant, lawless Washington DC.”
So, what is the solution? Ratify the original First Amendment. The original First Amendment is about adequate representation. Instead of a 435 people in Washington DC usurping the Constitution, there would be in excess of 6,000 representatives among the people, not in Washington, who would be responsible for staying within the bounds of the law. How can this be? It’s because the original First Amendment allowed for one representative for every 50,000 people in the population.
Here’s how the amendment reads:
After the first enumeration required by the first article of the Constitution, there shall be one representative for every thirty thousand, until the number shall amount to one hundred, after which the proportion shall be so regulated by Congress, that there shall not be less than one hundred representatives, nor less than one representative for every forty thousand persons, until the number of representatives shall amount to two hundred, after which the proportion shall be so regulated by Congress, that there shall not be less than two hundred representatives, nor more than one representative for every fifty thousand.
Not only that, but this would severely devastate the money in politics as virtually any American could run and win office to represent their people. Furthermore, since there is no way that Washington would be able to contain 6,000 representatives, it would force them to live at home and have to directly answer to those they serve.
This amendment was the first amendment that was proposed, but failed to garner enough states to ratify it. However, ratification of this amendment that would provide true representation to the people and breakup some of the corruption in Washington would be far easier than getting an Article V convention put together without any of the unnecessary danger involved in it.
For an amendment to be added to the Constitution, it must be ratified by 38 states. This amendment already has 11 states that have ratified it: New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia and Kentucky. We only need 27 more states and it goes into effect and there is nothing corporations or Washington can do about it.
The initial goal of the Fear the People campaign is 50,000 donors for the first crowdfunding phase, to ratify the 28th Amendment.
AmericaAgain!’s Chief Operating Officer Matt Mida explains, “In 1789, the first Congress passed 12 amendments and sent them to the states for ratification, but only the last ten were ratified at that time; they are known as the Bill of Rights. The original first amendment stipulates that no U.S. House district can have more than 50,000 people. The founders wanted elections for the House of Representatives to be small and local, and to have regular citizen-statesmen serve in Congress, not lifetime politicians.”
“That will mean we can actually know our U.S. congressman; but it also means we will have 6,400 members of the U.S. House of Representatives,” says Mida. “That is where phases two and three of our crowdfunding project come in. With the Bring Congress Home Act, productive Americans will bring Congress home and into the 21st century; out of Washington D.C., where we can keep track of them and keep them out of bankers’ and industry lobbyists’ pockets.”
Zuniga suggests that America’s producer class is at wit’s end with both political parties. “The average productive American is being squeezed between Wall Street and industry billionaires and a growing population of welfare leeches and illegal aliens. Congress enables both the predators and the parasites; the top one-tenth of one percent, and the bottom 35 or 40 percent, to feed off of us.”
No crowdfunding project has ever sought to benefit all Americans, yet there is historical precedent for the group’s goals. The 2013 MOBILE Resolution (HR287) filed by congressmen Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Steve Pearce (R-NM), called for members of Congress being able to work from their home district offices via teleconferencing.
In 1983, the original Second Amendment first passed by Congress in 1789 and ratified by nine states, was picked up by college student Gregory Watson, who was able to get the amendment ratified by 29 additional states, at which point it became the 27th Amendment, in 1993 – over 200 years after first being passed by Congress.
“For years, Americans have been living a nightmare,” Zuniga says. “Government controls every aspect of life and arrogantly violates the Constitution with impunity. By law they are our servants; in fact, they act like our masters. Wall Street and industry play D.C. like puppet theater; the one percent get insanely wealthy while 90 million Americans don’t have a paying job. With God’s help, Fear The People will be the crowdfunding project that finally ends America’s hijacking.”
This is the second phase in AmericaAgain!’s campaign to take back government from criminal elitists and cartels. As we have reported, activists across the country have already put their public servants on notice that we have an intent to repossess their offices lawfully due to their crimes against the people of America.
Even with this in place, it would require godly men of character to not only represent the people before God, but it would also take godly men to hold them accountable. Otherwise, all we do will be doing is extending what Dr. Joel McDurmon calls “widespread mobocracies, which were no better” than our current state of affairs. Before governments fear the people, the people and the government should first fear God (Psalm 2:10; Prov. 9:10).
