Jacksonville, FL — As frequent readers of the Free thought Project know, police officers will use almost any reason to justify the escalation of force and subsequent arrest. TFTP has reported on savage violence dished out by law enforcement in case after case of “contempt of cop” otherwise known as damaging a cop’s ego. This violence is often encouraged by the lack of accountability as cops dole out punishment with no recourse.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Officer Alejandro Carmona was one of these officers who was allowed to inflict grave harm on an innocent woman and continue on in his career — facing no accountability. Carmona was part of a gang of cops who savagely beat an innocent woman, breaking her teeth in the process and faced no consequences for his actions. Now, this cop is in the spotlight once more. This time for being a child predator.

In March, Carmona was arrested and charged with a child sex crime after he was busted sending nude images over Snapchat to an underage boy. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said they received an anonymous tip that Carmona was grooming the child for sex over Snapchat and arrested him on March 16.

Carmona was immediately released on bail only to go right back to preying on children. Black Enterprise reports that Carmona was recently arrested again and is additionally charged with one count of online solicitation of a child, four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device, all of which are felonies.

In 2020, Brittany Crishawn Williams, now Brittany Moore, called 911 asking for assistance after an officer parked in her driveway for a nearby police matter and wouldn’t leave. That cop was Carmona.

“This all could have been avoided if the police in my case were held accountable for what they did to me,” says Moore.
Moore released body camera footage at the time her lawsuit was announced which exposed sexual misconduct among the ranks of JSO. As part of her lawsuit against the JSO, Moore released footage showing that the officers involved in her violent arrest exposed her breasts, joked about having sex with her and made fun of her body using vulgar language. Carmona’s supervisor even asked him if he was parked in her driveway to have sex with her.

As we reported at the time, Moore’s interaction began as a peaceful one until she asked Carmona to leave and he refused, so she threw a spoon in the officer’s direction.

This was a childish act, but so was trespassing and refusing to leave someone’s property to allegedly send emails. So Moore called 911.

When the responding officer showed up, Carmona said Moore “assaulted” him because in the cop’s eyes, throwing a spoon and not hitting anyone, is “assault.”

“Why can’t he pull off my yard? Why can’t he leave my yard?” she asks the officer.

“I want him to leave,” she told the officer. “… When I asked him, `Why are you here? Police officer, please leave,’ he started yelling at me. Do you think he has this kind of power, this kind of authority?”

She then repeats, “Why are you here, and why are y’all smirking?”

After her repeated questions, he tried to grab her and she was brutally beaten.

After the attack, Moore was left toothless, bloody, and facing charges.

“I still can’t believe this happened to me. JSO police came to my house and attacked me. And now I have broken teeth with exposed nerves, and I haven’t been able to sleep or eat in days,” Moore tweeted after the attack.

She was arrested on two charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and one charge of resisting arrest without violence. The arrest report said she had a gun, but it appeared she lawfully owned the gun. She eventually fought all the charges at a trial and was found not guilty last October.

“Her attorneys argued…neither [officer] Padgett or Carmona were engaged in their official duties as officers…Carmona was trespassing on her private property. Meanwhile, Padgett unlawfully entered Williams’ residence without a search warrant to make the arrest, and there were no exigent circumstances to justify the deputy’s entry,” Atlanta Black Star reported in April 2021.

Neither of the officers faced accountability.

“In his 15 years as a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office patrolman, Alejandro Carmona-Fonseca racked up 28 complaints from his superiors and citizens, according to his Employee Administrative Investigation History,” the Florida Times-Union reported.

Unfortunately, only the taxpayers were held accountable and this violent woman-beating cop was allowed to victimize others, this time, children.
