Man Preaches In Sackcloth & Ashes In DC: “Repent For The Kingdom Of Heaven Is At Hand” – Watch What Happens (Video)

As China Joe was fraudulently being inaugurated at the US Capitol in DC, a team of Christians went there to preach the Gospel message and call the nation to repentance.  The leader of the team cloaked himself in sackcloth and placed ashes on his head just like those who humbled themselves and sought repentance in the Old Testament.  However, the response they got was not necessarily one they were expecting.

Philip Blair of Torch for Christ ministries and his team wanted to preach both before and during the inauguration ceremony and things seemed fine while he was just in sackcloth and preaching on a corner of the street.

However, once he placed ashes on his head, that’s when cops, military and all sorts of people with guns started to push back.

The following video is what occurred on January 21, 2021.  The fact that those employed by our government don’t even have a clue about sackcloth and ashes and consider such people that use these means to be humble and preach the Gospel as some sort of threat indicates just how ignorant we have become as a people as to what real Christianity and what the true message of the Gospel is actually all about.

Unlike many of the false prophets and fake spiritual leaders that call themselves Christians that were advising President Donald Trump, these believers had the right method and the right message and you can see they were not welcome at all.

Yet, they trusted God despite concerns and fear and stood their ground to do what they were called to do.

Be encouraged, Church!  Those who live godly in Christ Jesus will face persecution (2 Timothy 3:12), but it is our duty to endure all things as a good soldier of Jesus the Christ (2 Timothy 2:3) for the sake of the elect (2 Timothy 2:10)!
