Media Falsely Claims California’s Latest Ban is Over “Anti-Gay Laws”

Every so often, California’s Democrat machine adds another bunch of states to its list of Banned States which government employees, college students, and assorted other people who utilize taxpayer money for their trips can’t travel to without filing a Banned States permission form.

Is this America? No, it’s the People’s Republic of California.

The media uncritically picks up whatever press release the latest Democrat hack serving as Attorney General puts out in order to solicit donations from the Human Rights Campaign.

And so there are about a hundred headlines, all of which, from the New York Times to CNN, are minor variations of, “California bans state-funded travel to five new states over anti-LGBTQ laws”.

While four out of the five states targeted by California passed laws protecting women’s sports (what used to be feminism is now a hate crime), North Dakota did nothing of the kind. Its governor actually vetoed a bill protecting women’s sports. How did North Dakota end up on the list?

Over a free speech bill that protected the rights of students to be exempt from being punished for their views and maintain their own organizations in agreement with their values.

That’s anti-LGBTQ only if you believe that Christian and Orthodox Jewish campus groups should be banned. Which California Democrats clearly do. And the media clearly does.

It just refuses to say so.

Attorney General Rob Bonta falsely claimed that California Democrats are fighting laws that work “directly work to ban transgender youth from playing sports, block access to life-saving care, or otherwise limit the rights of members of the LGBTQ+ community.”

That’s false, as North Dakota’s case shows.

California Democrats are the ones who want to limit the rights of religious people. That’s what the Supreme Court found regarding the crackdown on churches by California Democrats.

And that’s also the case here.
