Obama’s Job-Killing, Gun Controlling, Illegal Alien Enticing Secret Treaty Could be Fast Tracked This Week

In what is reminiscent of Nancy’s Pelosi’s infamous words, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it,” Obama’s secret Trans-Pacific Partnership treaty is likely to be fast tracked by the Senate this week.

The New York Times spins reports:

President Obama’s most aggressive and sustained legislative push since the Affordable Care Act faces a crucial first test this week when a divided Senate considers a bill that would grant him accelerated power to complete a massive trade accord with 11 nations across the Pacific Rim.

But after lobbying members of Congress in a campaign that has included rides on Air Force One, meetings in the West Wing, private vows of political support and public attacks on critics in his own party, Mr. Obama’s top legislative priority remains at risk.

A vote scheduled for Tuesday on legislation that would grant him trade promotion authority, also known as “fast track,” has become mired in a procedural thicket, with Democrats — many of them loyal to labor unions bent on killing the bill — vowing to oppose it.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

On Friday, Obama tried to persuade unions to get on board with his don’t ask don’t tell treaty.

“So when you look at a country like Vietnam, under this agreement, Vietnam would actually, for the first time, have to raise its labor standards,” Obama told a crowd at a Nike plant in Oregon. “It would have to set a minimum wage. It would have to pass safe workplace laws to protect its workers.”

Right, but we already have laws that protect workers and the entire minimum wage argument has been shown to be an utter failure in terms of economics and employment.

“They say that this trade agreement will cost American jobs,” the president noted. “What this trade agreement would do is open the doors to the higher-skill, higher-wage jobs of the future — jobs that we excel at.  It would make sure our manufacturers who are operating at the higher end of the value chain are able to access these growing markets.”

Really? Will it work sort of like, “If you like your doctor or insurance plan, you can keep it”?

Why legislation needs to be passed on this issue is beyond me. Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the US Constitution is clear. No foreign treaty can be legally executed in the United States unless 2/3 of the senators present approve.  How’s that for your legislation? And if they don’t approve it, it should be dead. However, we have to keep our eyes open because the Senate never approved the United Nations Agenda 21. Yet, President Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton started advancing its tenants in the US via executive order.

Ed Wood warned of the danger of this treaty on Sunday, “The Congressional Research Service admits that if the United States signs on to an international trade agreement, the implementing legislation of that trade agreement would supersede any conflicting federal, state, and local laws. When this occurs, domestic U.S. workers may be subject to a sudden change in tariffs, regulations, or dispute resolution proceedings, which would now be in the hands of international tribunals outside the U.S.”

Michael Snyder has been warning since last year of the deindustrialization and emergence into a one world economy that this treaty will take America into. Snyder has said the treaty “would destroy thousands of American businesses and millions of good-paying American jobs” and “be the final nail in the coffin for America’s economic infrastructure.”

On Saturday, Mac Slavo also reported that the treaty will provide for “unlimited migration from Mexico,” “gun import bans,” and “ammunition bans.”

So now it is up to the people. Just as when the people spoke out concerning the anti-arms treaty from the United Nations, which would have mandated a national gun registry and just like the people spoke out concerning the post-Sandy Hook assault on the Second Amendment and gained victory, we must also speak out regarding this treaty and demand that the Senate not give way to Obama.
