It really is amazing, but not surprising, when someone goes to Washington, DC pretending to be one thing and then turning out to be something else. However, it’s extremely disappointing when that person is a veteran. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is one of those people and he’s just provided another example of why he’s been nicknamed “McCain 2.0” by an apparent flip-flop in favor of mass immigration and shifting of demographics.
Shane Trejo reports on Crenshaw’s latest betrayal of those he represents in Texas.
Crenshaw showed his hypocrisy during an event at Texas A&M University on Monday when he was put on the spot about demographic changes and their impact on the U.S. Republic moving forward.
“The U.S. Census Bureau projects that the United States will be minority white by the year 2045,” the questioner explained. “According to a 2014 Pew Research study, 80 percent of blacks, 65 percent of Asians, and 56 percent of Hispanics identify as Democrats.”
“Given that the Democrat Party is destroying American ideals, which I think we would both agree on, and given that non-white groups overwhelmingly vote Democrat, how will American ideals be maintained 25 years from now when nearly a million non-white immigrants become citizens each year?” he asked.
Crenshaw’s insipidly platitudinal answer to this provocative question could be seen as a tacit endorsement for the status quo of limitless immigration and demographic replacement.
“Here’s how we look into the future. We don’t tell.. We don’t lie to minorities and tell them that we are going to solve all their problems,” Crenshaw responded.
“We tell them that they are included in this country, and that the only colors that matter in this country are the red, white and blue, and that identity politics has no place in this movement,” Crenshaw added.
Now, personally, he’s right to point out that the color of people’s skin doesn’t matter and that identity politics shouldn’t be a part of the issue.
However, he seems to be flip-flopping from his previous position that got him elected.
“If I were to look back 50 years from now and say, ‘what did I accomplish?’ It would be the longevity of the conservative movement. That… That is the greatest threat right now. That in 50 years we may not have a Republican Party because our demographics are changing,” Crenshaw said.
Take a look at these two videos that contrast Crenshaw’s positions.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw is a hypocrite.
In 2018 he said, "In 50 years we may not have a Republican party because our demographics are changing."
Yet, when questioned by a young conservative, he changes his tune: "Identity politics has no place in this movement."

He also took shots at the First Amendment against reporter Paul Joseph Watson, much like the South Carolina legislature in my home state did concerning criticism of Israel in the form of BDS.
The question wasn’t about “criticism,” but the BDS movement, ie economic warfare against Israel. The US govt CAN choose not to do business with BDS supporters.
Trying to spin this as if I said you “can’t criticize Israel” is deliberately misleading & journalistic malfeasance. https://t.co/bKqq9onMO2

Of course, he got spanked.
The question was focused around the 1st Amendment & included the issue of Florida passing a law that outlawed criticism of Israel within the education system.
Your immediate response was not to defend the sanctity of the 1st Amendment, but to call the questioner an anti-Semite. https://t.co/0E860MSoWs

I'm no fan of BDS or people who obsess all day about Israel, but the optics looked pretty bad, as did your security kicking out kids for their opinions during last night's event.

I’m with Watson on that. I’m no fan of BDS, but honestly, it’s a foreign country. People have the right to free speech and freedom of assembly. Crenshaw, despite his disagreement with those involved, should recognized that is protected under the Constitution.
However, considering that he was bit close with a terror-tied Islamic group that wanted to repeal Trump’s travel ban, it seems that he is less than trustworthy.
As we previously reported:
On September 2, 2019, Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy Seal and current Republican congressman from Texas, reportedly met with Emgage. Pictures of Rep. Crenshaw meeting with Emgage representatives were quickly posted on Emgage’s social media pages.
In one tweet posted on Emgage’s official Twitter page, the Muslim group. which also has a PAC said,
“Emgage continues to work on behalf of the Muslim American community to ensure that the Muslim ban is repealed. We are grateful to @RepFletcher and @DanCrenshawTX for a discussion on the NO BAN Act and their support!”

As the tweet and the pictures show, Rep. Crenshaw did, in fact, meet with Emgage representatives, and according to Emgage, the discussions were focused on President Donald Trump’s “travel ban”, which many Muslim organizations and the fake news media have falsely described as a “Muslim Ban”. However, President Trump never implemented a Muslim ban. Instead, Trump’s travel ban halted travel for 90 days for residents of six Muslim countries, including: Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.
All of these countries have high levels of terrorist activity.
Oddly, Emgage thanked Rep. Crenshaw for his “support” of their NO BAN Act.
…
Emgage is a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated group and PAC that focuses on getting Muslim and far-left candidates elected to office. While Emgage claims to be non-partisan, a quick look at who they have previously endorsed reveals that they have a liking for some of the most radical leftists in America.
Along with supporting socialist candidates, Emgage is also a highly anti-Semitic organization that keeps of the company of prominent Jew-haters like Linda Sarsour, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and CAIR, an internationally designated Islamic terrorist organization.
Directly beneath Emgage’s tweet about Rep. Crenshaw is a retweet of Linda Sarsour.
Linda Sarsour is a radical left-wing Muslim Brotherhood activist. On July 1, 2017, Linda Sarsour gave a speech at the 54th Annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Convention in Chicago. During that speech, Sarsour not only infamously called for Muslims to carry out Jihad against President Trump, but she also used her speech as an opportunity to praise Imam Siraj Wahhaj.
ISNA, which stands for the Islamic Society of North America, is a Muslim Brotherhood-HAMAS affiliated group that has financially supported HAMAS, which the United States recognizes as a designated Islamic terror org.

Less than one week ago, Emgage, which supports ISNA, retweeted communist Senator and soon to be twice-failed presidential candidate Bernie Sanders who said he was “looking forward to joining his friends at #ISNACON- the largest gathering of Muslim Americans in North America”.
I agree with Trejo’s conclusion, “While his service to his nation is beyond reproach, Crenshaw’s work as a legislator pales in comparison to his military record.”
