President “US Will Never Be A Socialist Country” Promises “Free” COVID Drugs & More Wealth Redistribution

Remember the State of the Union speech earlier this year when President Donald Trump declared the US would never be a socialist country, not realizing that we’ve been engaging in socialism to one degree or another for decades?  Well, within the past week, he’s not only promised he will sign unconstitutional legislation to give away billions of dollars to people in a stimulus package, but is now promising to give Americans “free” COVID drugs.  The only catch is that money that will be distributed will come with enormous interest rates and you’ll be paying for those drugs.  Nothing is free.

First, Trump tweeted out on Tuesday, “If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now. Are you listening Nancy?”

Can someone please tell me where Congress has the authority to pass such a bill?  Article, section and clause, please.  Furthermore, if you can’t cite that, then where does Trump get the authority to sign an unconstitutional bill?  Article, section and clause, please.

The answer to both is not a person in DC has authority to redistribute wealth.  Not a single solitary representative has that authority.

“Move Fast, I Am Waiting To Sign!” Trump added.

Not only that, but he wants to bailout big corporations as well, on your backs, America.

“The House & Senate should IMMEDIATELY Approve 25 Billion Dollars for Airline Payroll Support, & 135 Billion Dollars for Paycheck Protection Program for Small Business. Both of these will be fully paid for with unused funds from the Cares Act. Have this money. I will sign now!” he tweeted.

Again, Article, section and clause for anyone that wants to defend this unconstitutional action.

What Trump should be doing is holding accountable those violating the law and infringing on the rights of the people, but he’s not going to do that.  What he should be doing is threatening to veto any and every piece of unconstitutional legislation put on his desk such as those mentioned above, but he’s playing politics with your future and your children’s future all for the sake of “winning,” but winning what?  More debt?  More socialism?  More corruption?

Furthermore, on Wednesday, Trump spoke outside the Oval Office to declare that the drugs he allegedly received at Walter Reed hospital would be made available to all Americans “for free.”

“I want everybody to be given the same treatment as your president because I feel great, I feel perfect,” Trump said. “I think this was a blessing from God that I caught it. This was a blessing in disguise. I caught it, I heard about this drug, I said let me take it — It was my suggestion and it was incredible the way it worked…”

“I want to get for you what I got and I’m gonna make it free,” he said.  “You’re not gonna pay for it. It wasn’t your fault that this happened. It was China’s fault and China’s gonna pay a big price for what they’ve done to this country.”

Hmmm, yeah, I’ve heard this one before, haven’t you?  Remember who was going to pay for the wall?  Mexico.  Who ended up paying for the wall?  The American people, and we didn’t really get a lot of newly placed wall, just renovation on the old one for the most part.

Some praise Trump for this.  I ask, where does he have the authority to do this in the Constitution?  Again, Article, section and clause.

His authority is to veto unconstitutional legislation, not promote it.  His job is to make sure the Constitution is upheld, not play politics with the law, but that’s exactly what is going on in the Trump administration just as much as it is going on with Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

As a side note, you’ll be sure to note how Big Pharma is making out like a fat cat after this.

Everyone wins in these little endeavors except the American people.  Keep that in mind.
