Newly elected Congresswoman, Rashida Tlaib took to Instagram to announce she will be wearing a Palestinian thobe while being sworn into Congress.
Tlaib posted a photo of the thobe and wrote:

Not only is Rashida planning on wearing a Palestinian thobe while being sworn into Congress, but she also plans on being sworn in on the Quran.
None of this should be surprising though, especially seeing how Rashida wrapped herself in the Palestinian flag at her victory party.
Rashida has made it clear she stands for Palestine and her Muslim beliefs, over the United States and our Constitution.
