After Republicans on the Senate appropriations committee sold Americans down the river with a $4.6 billion budget to fund an orderly influx of Central American emigrants without stipulating any measures to secure the border or decrease the “crisis” while giving Democrats everything on illegal alien invasion of the united States, several Republican Senators, during an interview with CNS.com, plainly and without reservation confirmed the president has the constitutional authority to enforce immigration law.
Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) stated, “Well, definitely yes, and I think that that’s one of the more important things that we need to see focused on in our country for the last five or six years. One of the reasons I believe we are having the difficulties we are having today at the border is because of lax enforcement of our immigration law.” The question Mark Jennings of CNSnews.com asked Sen. Crapo was “Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution says the president ‘shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.’ Do you think that the president has a constitutional duty to enforce the immigration laws on the books?”
Experts estimate there are nearly 30 million illegal alien invaders in the united States.
When asked the same question by Cody Leach of CNSnews.com, Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) responded, “Yes. He has a constitutional responsibility to enforce all the laws of our country.”
Leach then asked Cardin, “Right, but does the president have a constitutional duty to enforce the immigration laws?”
Sen. Cardin answered, “Any, any laws of our country. The Executive Branch is responsible to carry out the laws. There are certain exceptions, there’s procedures for how the president should act.”
When Sen. Cardin was asked what he thought about Trump and if his actions are appropriate where immigration is concerned, he stated, “I agree we need to fix our immigration system, and we need the president’s leadership to do that and he has not been helpful in getting Congress together on immigration.”
If Sen. Cardin were being honest, he would admit that Democrats in both chambers of Congress were too busy peddling the Trump/Russia collusion false narrative to work toward impeaching Trump to care about anything else. Moreover, Democrats want things their way, especially where illegal alien invasion is concerned, regardless of the impact to the people or the country.
US border patrol chief Carla Provost informed the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Border Security “that more than 100,000 illegal immigrants [illegal alien invaders] had eluded the Border Patrol after they illegally crossed into the United States”.
Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) responded to the same questions asked of Cardin and Crapo. He said, “Well, the president is supposed to faithfully execute the laws of the country – that’s right.”
According to a research study conducted at MIT, researchers estimate there are 22 million illegal alien invaders living in the united States. Even this estimate is double what President Trump indicated he would deport – 10.5 million, and the continued number of 11 million being floated by Congress and immigration officials.
“I don’t think there’s any question about it,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) responded when Mark Jennings of CNSnews.com asked the same question he did of Sen. Mike Crapo. “And the fact that they’ve been ignored for so many years and maybe even decades and using things like discretionary enforcement only undermines and frankly distorts the public view of that very authority that the president has.” Cramer added, “So when President Trump actually exercises his authority by enforcing the laws as opposed to exercising the authority by ignoring them, some people are – perhaps understandably – confused, but it’s really President Trump that’s living up to the responsibility of the job.”
Rounding out the interviews by Mark Jennings of CNSnews.com is Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL). Jennings asked Sen. Scott, “Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution says that the president ‘shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.’ Do you think that the president have a constitutional duty to enforce immigration laws?”
Sen. Scott replied, “Of course, I think that’s what he’s trying to do. It’s a tough time. Unfortunately, the Democrats won’t help him secure the border, but we’re going to keep working on it.”
So, here the American people are again receiving the same song and dance from both sides of the aisle – Republicans blaming Democrats and Democrats blaming Trump because “there’s procedures for how the president should act.”
These individuals know the Constitution. They are aware the president is responsible for faithfully executing the law. And, they know the immigration laws are constitutional since it is an enumerated power in the Constitution. Yet, Republicans block the president by partnering with Democrats to facilitate illegal alien invasion of the united States while Democrats scheme to impeach Trump and organize an illegal alien invasion of Central American emigrants into the united States.
My grandmother always said, “People can say anything. It is actions that speak louder than words.”
Judging from the actions of Senate Republicans and Democrats, they care little for the law but care a great deal to thwart the president any way possible when he tries to see the laws are faithfully executed. And, citizens are already seeing the “blame game” being initiated with Sen. Scott claiming the Democrats refuse to help the president secure the border. Isn’t securing the border part of immigration law? Yes, it is; therefore, the president can instruct the Department of Homeland Security to increase patrols. Moreover, the Constitution provides for Congress to call up the citizen militia to repel invasions. When Congress fails to act and there is a danger that does not permit delay, the States can call up citizens to repel invasions, aka engage in war.
While America suffers from a dysfunctional federal government, the States should be taking care to repel invasions. However, many States, cities, and towns have declared their jurisdictions “sanctuaries” for illegal alien invaders and illegal alien invader criminals against immigration law. This is dangerous policy regardless of party affiliation. Party affiliation. This has absolutely devastated this republic. Citizens have become entrenched in toeing the party line of their self-designated party affiliation they have ignored the Constitution as well as the other organic law of the united States. It has become more important to “root for the man wearing the party jersey”, even when his actions are unlawful, illegal, and corrupt, than it is to hold him accountable to the law. It is this extreme derangement that has helped cause the problems the united States experiences today.
But, no one wants to hear the truth since they are comfortable in their fantasy/delusion. That goes for both sides of the aisle. Instead of upholding, defending and protecting the Constitution, citizens have opted to follow party policy and politics to the detriment of this republic. And, we are now close to losing our republic to an influx of illegal alien invaders who will not assimilate, will feed from the government teat of entitlement programs, bring their original country’s corruption and lawlessness with them, and institute change within communities to suit their lifestyle while infringing upon the rights of citizens. The precedent has already been set as has been seen across the republic to include practitioners of Islam.
How much more American citizens are going to take of failed party policy/politics is anyone’s guess. One thing is certain – the founding fathers of this republic would have acted some time ago.
