Sheriffs are supposed to be the very first and last line of defense against the state or the federal government’s usurpations of law against the people. Sadly, many sheriffs don’t even know what it means to be a constitutional sheriff. However, they are the ones that do possess the delegated authority to interpose between the people and the tyrants.

Having just returned from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) “Resist the Temptation” summit in Las Vegas, Newman says the message was that sheriffs have many tools at their disposal including forming a posse, refusing to enforce unconstitutional decrees, and interposing between tyrants and more.
