This Medal of Honor Marine Calls for the “Full Institution of the Second Amendment”

On Saturday, I told you about Marine Sergeant Jeremy Knauff’s epic post that has gone viral as he warned the Islamic jihadists what they have coming if they want to engage Americans on American soil. On Monday, I hosted him at Sons of Liberty radio. However, another well-known Marine also took to Facebook to call for Americans to take back, in full, their constitutionally protected rights under the Constitution.

Sergeant Meyer, a Medal of Honor award recipient, took to his Facebook page after the Chattanooga Islamic jihad attack.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“This incident IS an act of domestic terrorism, regardless of how Washington spins it, regardless of what nationality, color, creed, or otherwise the shooter was,” he wrote. “This was a planned attack on the United Stated Military on United States soil.”

“Now is not the time to come out waiving photos of bullet holes in the glass calling for more gun control and spinning the story to yield a further separation of peoples in the Unites States,” he added. “Now is the time for a call on the American people to finally realize the state of the world we are living in and the enemy that we face. Now is the time to call on the on the American people to ignore the propaganda that special interest groups have been shoving in our faces and unite as a country so that we may become our neighbor’s keeper.”

Meyer not only wanted people to understand that evil exists in the Middle East in the form of Islam, but also in our home country.

“Evil is not just over seas, but also here at home,” he wrote. “Moments after this tragedy had occurred ISIS sent out via Twitter that they were responsible for the attacks and that the shooter, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was one of theirs. ISIS said recently that they were coming to American soil to kill members of the United States Military and now that threat has come to fruition.”

“I, for one, do not plan to give away by ability to defend myself and those I care about,” he added. “I carry a firearm with me at all times legally under the conceal and carry laws in the area that I am in. I do not call for a disarming of Americans, but instead a full institution of the 2nd Amendment so that we may defend ourselves as a country from all threats, both foreign and domestic. The threat is here, this is real, and this will not be the end of it.”

Amen! This is the reality. While some consider that there is no real threat, they may want to venture into my own county where one of many FBI known jihadi camps is located that no one is doing anything about. However, should they rear their ugly head, they will be sent to Hell by a bunch of us rednecks in South Carolina. We won’t negotiate with them. We will kill them, period.

As Sergeant Knauff said over the weekend, “When you play in our backyard, we don’t have to answer to any chain of command. We will not follow ridiculous ROEs crafted by a spineless bureaucrat to appease some goat herding tribal leader. And we won’t be wearing uniforms so that you can easily ambush us.”

The Second Amendment is open-ended for the American people to own any arms they like and can afford. I stand with Dakota Meyer that the Second Amendment is there to allow for the keeping and bearing of arms by the American people for the preservation of a free state, and a state that does not overstep its bounds by infringing on the rights of the people.
