United Flight 1074: Passengers Beat Down and Bloody Passenger Who Yells “Jihad”

You know, I have constantly said that if you let the American people have liberty and don’t constrain them, they will deal with the threats our nation faces… even on airplanes. I was somewhat (I says somewhat because I realize that the unconstitutional TSA violates the Fourth Amendment every time a passenger boards an airplane) correct in my assessment as a United plane in route on Monday from Washington, DC to Denver, Colorado experienced a man who yelled “jihad, jihad” followed by patriotic passengers who beat him down, leaving him bloodied.

The man rushed the cockpit and would not heed the orders of the flight crew, so passengers stepped in and dealt with him accordingly. According to the reports, two “larger men” came up behind the man and tackled him.

Which Candidate Do You Support in the Republican Primaries?

Now some people believe the man has a mental condition. Of course, he does! Who does things like this? Well, we know Islamic jihadists do these types of things for sure.

However, the passengers that rushed and tackled the man can also be seen in the video holding his head to the floor as you can see blood coming from what appears to be a cut on his face.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” the man says as passengers keep him subdued.

The man is referred to as “David” by one of the men subduing him.

Now, frankly, the guy looks nothing like an Islamist, but what triggered this kind of outburst?

One passenger on board, Donna Tellam, told ABC, “One held his feet and the other one kind of laid on top of him and then the flight attendants went and got some plastic restraints for his arms. At one point when his head was down he said there were jihadists in the cargo hold and he did say jihad a couple times.”

The Daily Mail reports:

United Flight 1074 returned to Dulles at around 10:40pm after a ‘disturbance onboard,’ said Kimberly Gibbs, a spokesman for Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

The passenger who was removed was ‘transported to a local hospital for evaluation,’ she added.

Flight 1074 had been scheduled to depart Dulles at 10:30pm local time, suggesting it had not been in the air for very long by the time the incident occurred.

Gibbs said that by about 12:45 am the plane was on its way to Denver. The flight has now been rescheduled for this morning, she added.

The flight was carrying six crew members and 33 passengers.

Final note on a personal matter regarding the preface to this article: On a recent trip to Minnesota, from Charlotte to Minneapolis, I opted for the pat down procedure (I figure if my rights are going to be violated, I’ll at least confront the violator). I was able to engage one of the TSA people concerning what was going on. He told me that what he was doing was “administrative” and therefore was not a violation of the Fourth Amendment. Though he was pleasant throughout the criminal action, I asked him to point out to me in the Fourth Amendment where “administrative” was. He couldn’t do it. To top that, he started referencing the Second Amendment as though it was the Fourth.

The saddest part of the entire encounter was the fact that this gentleman said that he had fought for “these rights” (the very rights he was violating), but didn’t think the Fourth Amendment was a “hill to die on,” but the Second Amendment was. In other words, this man took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, but when it came to his “job,” all that flew out the window. I’m guessing it was because he had absolutely no idea what the Constitution even says. For those veterans who serve and have served our country faithfully and have understood what they are doing, I say, “Thank you,” but I’m reluctant to offer thanks to those so ignorant and so willing to violate what they took an oath to uphold.

For that TSA agent I encountered, I have a word for you. Since you would not stand your ground on the Fourth Amendment, what makes you think you will take a stand when it come to the Fourth Amendment?
