Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a guy that I would remind you that I warned against being put in the position he is in, claims the assessment (wink, wink) of the US Government is that Iran is responsible for another attack on an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
“It is the assessment of the U.S. government that Iran is responsible for today’s attacks in the Gulf of Oman. These attacks are a threat to international peace and security, a blatant assault on the freedom of navigation, and an unacceptable escalation of tension by Iran” Pompeo tweeted.

Is this the same government that assessed there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and chose to invade it?
Is this the same government that assessed not once, but twice that Bashar al Assad gassed his own people without a shred of evidence so that they could lob millions of dollars worth of missiles into Syria without Congressional approval and in violation of the Constitution?
Is this the same government that courts Saudi Arabia, like they are doing in this while never dealing with them over the 19 alleged hijackers of 9-11, many of which came from Saudi Arabia and both the Saudis and Iran had their hands in 9-11?
These are the people we are to trust with their “assessments”?
And Pompeo to boot?
This is the same man that called Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and his outlet as a “non-state hostile intelligence service“, to which Assange corrected him that Wikileaks was simply like any other media platform in that they were a “publisher of intelligence.”
Remember, this is the same Secretary of State who openly declared that the US government trains to “lie, cheat and steal” back in April, and yet, we are supposed to believe him when he tells us of our government’s “assessment.”
This is more false flags to draw us into another unconstitutional foreign war. That’s all it is and it isn’t to aid America, that’s for sure.
in fact, in May it was reported that an Army Colonel predicted another Gulf of Tonkin incident to bring the US into war with Iran.
At the time, Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Colonel Douglas Macgregor addressed the growing prospect of US war with Iran and warned that a new “Gulf of Tonkin incident” could be used to drag us into it.
Carlson mocked the neocons’ claims that Iran is the “greatest threat” to America, explicitly noting that “virtually every attack in America has been inspired not by Iran, but by Iran’s Sunni enemies.”
Carlson pointed out how the neocons are hellbent on pushing the Trump administration into a new war. “If there was ever a swamp in Washington you are looking at it — the foreign policy establishment — they are working overtime to ensnare the president in a mess in Iran,” Carlson said. “Let’s hope that he understands exactly what’s going on.”
Pointing out Trump’s recent attempts at diplomacy with North Korea and Russia, Col. Macgregor weighed in, noting that he thinks Trump will attempt to avoid war with Iran. However, he noted that a false flag could be used to drag us into it.
“I think the president needs to watch carefully for the potential for something like the Gulf of Tonkin incident,” Col. Macgregor said. “Many of your viewers may not remember that it never happened and we could very well be treated to something like that in the Gulf. We should watch for that, and this is an example of President Trump’s comments on fake news, he should not be sabotage by fake news.”
Carlson then pointed out how the Trump admin has reacted to fake news by attacking Syria—twice.
And the results show who is going to profit.
Two ships with one stone:
Saudis get i) higher oil price ii) US to attack Iran
