Former Chris Cuomo producer trained girls as young as 7 in ‘sexual subservience’: court docs

A veteran CNN producer who worked “shoulder to shoulder” with ex-anchor Chris Cuomo bragged about luring girls as young as 7 to his home for “sexual subservience” training and believed “a woman is a woman regardless of age,” according to court papers released Monday.

John Griffin, who has been suspended from the network pending an investigation into the allegations, attempted to lure at least four girls, ages 16, 14, 13 and 9, to his Vermont ski house for deviant training sessions on such things as “spanking” and “c–k worship,” the documents allege.

The 44-year-old cable network honcho was arrested Friday by FBI agents, but his indictment was unsealed Monday. It revealed how the producer used a “BDSM dating, Fetish and Kink” website to try to find parents who would allow Griffin to train their minor daughters to be “sexually subservient,” the papers claim.

Throughout 2020, Griffin had a number of conversations with the “purported” parents of young girls in which he “espoused a ‘way of life’ in which women are sexually subservient and inferior to men,” prosecutors wrote in the indictment.

“There is a natural, wanton whore at the core of ANY female, whether she knows it or not,” Griffin told a person who claimed to be the mother of a 16-year-old daughter last summer, prosecutors said.

He then allegedly proposed “a little mother-daughter trip” to his Ludlow, Vermont, ski house for the sexual training, the indictment says.

Around the same time, Griffin spoke to another person who claimed to be the mother of 13-year-old and 9-year-old girls, saying, “It’s your job, in concert with me, [to] see that [the 13-year-old daughter] is trained properly,” according to the document.
John Griffin, of CNN, has been arrested on federal charges of sexually abusing underage girls.

“When handled appropriately, a woman is a woman regardless of her age,” Griffin told the person, court records allege.

“One of the big lies of this society is that women are delicate innocent angels and they are in actuality, naturally, the dirtiest sluts possible, in EVERY metric,” he added, according to the papers.

After a number of text and phone conversations with the person, Griffin allegedly transferred the purported parent $3,350 to cover the costs for a trip from Nevada to Boston.

On July 15, 2020, Griffin drove his red Tesla Model X to Boston Logan International Airport to pick up the parent and 9-year-old and then brought them back to his ski house, where the child “was directed to engage in and did engage in illegal sexual activity,” prosecutors allege.

In an earlier instance in April of that year, Griffin chatted with the purported father of a 14-year-old girl and told him he’d sexually trained a 7-year-old and said the dad’s teen would be a “good candidate” for his school, alongside her mother, the documents claim.

Griffin said he’d instruct the teen and her mother “to remove their clothing and touch each other,” the indictment says.

Griffin was remanded after his initial appearance in Vermont federal court and will be arraigned Wednesday, records show.

When reached by email, his lawyer declined comment.

CNN published a story about Griffin’s arrest Saturday and included a statement from the network’s rep.

“The charges against Mr. Griffin are deeply disturbing,” the spokesperson said. “We only learned of his arrest yesterday afternoon and have suspended him pending investigation.”
