The Bruce or Caitlyn (or whoever he feels he is today) Jenner circus should be no surprise to any of us. Our national media has been neutering men for over 40 years. We should be used to it by now. Men are seen as buffoons on television and even worse in movies. Most men don’t know what to do to maintain their role in society, so they try to find their “reason” by looking outside the home. These men get a nod by our national media, who have done a great job promoting a ‘gender-confused’ society and messing things up over the past few decades. Stop listening!

Let’s look in the mirror. Confused about who you are? There is an “author of confusion” and he has been around for a few years now. To remove the confusion, a successful man finds his purpose in the Bible, God’s Word. It is there that he understands how to love his wife and protect his family. It shows him how to work hard and enjoy the fruits of his labor. It shows him how to find purpose and hope. God’s Word shows us how to set boundaries for ourselves and our children. It shows the man how to love freedom and fight for his country. America was founded on God’s Word; it is the cornerstone for a successful life, family, and nation.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, children in fatherless homes are almost four times more likely to be poor. In 2011, 12 percent of children in married-couple families were living in poverty, compared to 44 percent of children in mother-only families.

Studies show that an absent father brings an increase in problems for their children. These problems include poverty, teen pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, physical abuse, suicide, substance and alcohol abuse and other social problems.

Another study reveals that in many cases the absence of a biological father contributes to increased risk of child abuse by a “father figure” living in the home.

To a nation that has essentially has turned its back on God, we have sat back and allowed our media to continue its flush of filth into our homes. Some of us are a little mad this is happening. Yet, most of us are afraid to speak up. As we, as a nation, insanely continue to head down a path of moral decay, why are there so few of us who are pushing back? Is it time to reverse course in our nation and families, and fight for what is right? Do we want to see our nation reverse course or will we be fat and happy until it is too late?

The Jenner circus show is nothing more than that, a circus. Media hungers for controversy and a ‘you better like it or else America’ attitude. The frothing frenzy over Mr./Ms. Jenner is typical. The sad part is that here is a man, another human being, trying to find out “who he is” all his life and he has nobody to point him in the right direction. Let’s turn the eyes of our heart back to our Creator, then back to our family and nation. Happy Fathers Day!
