Over the weekend, an Israeli news source reported that Patient Zero, Thomas Eric Duncan succumbed to Ebola. Today, the US media are finally affirming the Israeli news outlet’s claims. Duncan has indeed become the first victim of Ebola on US soil.

DALLAS — The first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States died early Wednesday, officials with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital announced.

“It is with profound sadness and heartfelt disappointment that we must inform you of the death of Thomas Eric Duncan this morning at 7:51 a.m.,” the hospital said in a written statement.”Mr. Duncan succumbed to an insidious disease, Ebola.”

Duncan’s death comes four days after his condition was downgraded from serious to critical. Over the weekend, he had begun receiving brincidofovir, an experimental antiviral drug which recently gained emergency approval from the FDA.

Fox News adds that the Dallas hospital also said:

“Mr. Duncan succumbed to an insidious disease, Ebola. He fought courageously in this battle. Our professionals, the doctors and nurses in the unit, as well as the entire Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas community, are also grieving his passing. We have offered the family our support and condolences at this difficult time.”

According to the hospital, “He fought courageously in this battle. The more serious consequences of Duncan’s illness and his untruthfulness on his questionnaire that led to his being brought to the US in the first place have yet to be seen.

What the media isn’t talking about is all of the people that flew with Duncan over to the US, those they came in contact with and those he came in contact with during his time in Dallas. They aren’t talking about the length of time before his dirty linens were destroyed or how paramedics drove around for 48 hours in an Ebola contaminated ambulance without being told it was contaminated.

All of this is highly disturbing considering the mortality rate of Ebola. Is it really as one government emergency manager suggested, the Ebola outbreak is being conducted on purpose?

Additionally, the Obama administration continues to purposefully sit on their hands regarding banning air travel from countries where Ebola has grown out of control. The American people have been petitioning this criminal administration to ban all incoming and outgoing flights to Ebola-stricken countries.

It’s so bad that even the media’s useful idiots from the White House Press corps are saying “We’re screwed.”

I don’t believe we’re screwed. We serve the God of heaven. However, I do think it to be a wise thing for us to be prudent in the matter and prepare ourselves for what may be ahead. To that end, a recent article may help with some of those prepping needs.
