We’re constantly admonished that the jihadis are just a tiny minority of extremists who have hijacked Islam, and told that no Muslims in the U.S. support them — none — and only “islamophobes” think otherwise. This poll, however, tells a different story. And remember: when it comes to controversial hot-button issues, many people hide their true feelings and tell pollsters what they think they want to hear. That means support for Sharia violence in the U.S. is likely to be higher than this.
