On June 8, 1967, the USS Liberty was attacked for over 2 hours by what we have been told is our ally, Israel. Nothing could be further from the truth. USS Liberty survivors Larry Bowen and Philip Tourney join me in this episode to share what went on that fateful day as nearly three dozen American servicemen lost their lives and more than 100 were injured while President Lyndon B Johnson wanted the ship at the bottom of the ocean so that the US would be drawn into the Six Day War.
