DHS To Senate Committee: Changing Asylum Laws Will Stop Illegal Alien Invasion Will Stop 90% – Oversimplifies Issue

The illegal alien invasion along the US southern border with Mexico has long been a hot mess, particularly during the eight-year reign of Hussein Soetoro’s criminal administration.  Previous articles discussed Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) DREAMers bill, Sen. Lindsay Graham’s (R-SC) Secure and Protect Act; Trump working with Mexico to broker a deal to align on “asylum” claims; Mexico’s veiled threats to the US regarding tariffs on Mexico’s goods; Mexico engaging in token effort stopping 1,000 illegal alien invaders headed toward the US; and, Mexico’s House Speaker equivalent claiming illegal alien invasion cannot be stopped and Central American’s have a “right” to enter the US.  What had started under the Hussein Soetoro reign continued into the Trump presidency with a minor slowdown in the early months of this administration.

American’s listened as various politicians claimed our immigration laws were broken while Hussein Soetoro imported, at taxpayer expense, unvetted Middle Eastern Islamists “refugees”, issued an open invitation to Central Americans who came pouring over the border, and transported released illegal alien invaders all around the republic.  Now, during the Trump administration, Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Kevin McAleenan told the Senate Judiciary Committee at Tuesday’s meeting on border security that changes to only two US laws would stop the illegal alien invasion of the US by 90 percent.

NewsWars.com reported:

The catastrophic surge of migrants on the U.S. southern frontier could be slashed by up to 90 percent if Congress made changes to a pair of key asylum laws, according to Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin McAleenan.

McAleenan also asserted that the migration crisis may effectively never end if current laws are not changed.

During a border security hearing held by the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) presented legal proposals to McAleenan as part of Graham’s “Secure and Protect Act.”

Graham asked McAleenan what reduction in the migrant surge might be expected if migrant families could be detained for up to 100 days while they await asylum hearings, and if asylum applications could only be filed in migrants’ countries of origin or Mexico.

“I believe the vast majority would stop,” McAleenan asserted.

“So if we made those two changes – extend the Flores decision to 100 days, so that we would have time to process these people and not release them into the interior of the country, and changed our asylum laws, do you think 90 percent of this flow from Central America would stop overnight?” Graham asked.

“I think between 70 and 90 percent would stop, yes,” McAleenan responded.

Wow!  This is fantastic – stopping illegal alien invasion of the US with only minor changes to two laws!  Why did this not occur before? (/sarcasm)

Is there anyone in the republic that believes changing two laws regarding asylum will decrease the illegal alien invasion of the united States through our southern border with Mexico?  If so, I have prime seaside acreage for sale in Nevada that I am willing to sell.  It is apparent that no one in Congress understands the term “illegal alien invasion”.  For that matter, neither does Acting DHS Secretary McAleenan.  But, wait;  it gets better.

McAleenan also revealed that 90 percent of migrant ‘family units’ are skipping their asylum hearings, according to findings of a pilot program which monitored some 7,000 cases.

During the same hearing, Sen. Graham echoed a warning issued by McAleenan months ago, asserting that the border has effectively collapsed.

Sen. Lindsey Graham: “There has to be a breaking point. We’ve reached the breaking point at the border.” pic.twitter.com/B5T9U90o4f

“There has to be a breaking point,” Graham said. “We’ve reached the breaking point at the border. I cannot imagine what it’s like to go to work every day, where half the people are dedicating their time to dealing with family members, minors, and all that goes into trying to deal with 600,000 people in your custody.”

“The breaking point has long passed at the border. This is not sustainable.”

Months ago, McAleenan warned the border was at a breaking point – now, the breaking point has been reached.  These charlatan politicians are sitting in Washington, DC, knowing our southern border reached its breaking point months ago, and are floating McAleenan’s statement that changing two asylum laws will stop illegal alien invasion up to 90 percent effectiveness.  In essence, the united States’ border has surpassed its breaking point to where the current status is unsustainable.  Yet, the best the Senate and DHS can do is shore up asylum laws.

Don’t misunderstand.  The united States has immigration laws that address illegal alien invasion, as well as a tenet in the Constitution to deal with invasion of any State or States.  The problem is not a lack of laws or shoring up of the law;  the problem is lack of enforcement of the law and lack of border security.  Instead of implementing what is necessary to stop the illegal alien invasion of the US, Congress dilly-dallies around holding dog and pony show hearings on “what can be done to stop individuals from crossing the border illegally”.  They already know what can be done.  Congress doesn’t want to do it because Democrats need a continual insurgence of fresh voters and Republicans need to satisfy their corporate donor handlers with cheap labor.

Earlier this week, it was reported that IBWC had padlocked the gate open along a section of fence near El Paso, Texas, paid for by the American public, which allowed illegal alien invaders to enter unimpeded.  The gate has since been closed.  A report at NewsWars.com indicated that not one single breach has occurred since the gate was closed.  This section along the southern border was a hotbed of drug and human trafficking that has now been closed.  But, back to the issue at hand.

The federal government knows that 90 percent of illegal alien invader “family units” skip the asylum hearings.  Coupled with a collapsed border, as indicated during the committee hearing, this serves as justification for constitutional measures to close the border, repel further invasion by illegal aliens using any force necessary, and cease asylum/refugee programs.  While these measures are distasteful to the bipartisan legislature and illegal alien invader supporters, it is part of the solution to protect citizens – ending the welfare/warfare state would produce surprising results.

This year alone, the federal government is slated to release over half a million illegal alien invaders into the interior of the united States.

Breitbart News reported:

Princeton Policy Advisors analyst Steve Kopits expects about 309,000 foreign minors and 226,000 adult border crossers to be released into the interior of the U.S. by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials by the end of the year. Additionally, about 202,000 adult illegal aliens are expected to enter the U.S. interior, undetected, according to Kopits’ forecast.

This projection indicates that far more than half a million foreign minors, adult border crossers, those claiming asylum, and illegal aliens are set to be released into the interior of the country — about 356,000 of which are a direct result of the February spending package approved by Republicans and Democrats and signed by President Trump.

“The bigger [border crossing] numbers … came with the signing of the omnibus spending bill (the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2019) in mid-February, which essentially prohibited the deportation of any adult from the Northern Triangle countries traveling with a minor and claiming asylum,” Kopits wrote.

As Breitbart News detailed, the spending bill bans federal immigration officials from deporting any illegal alien who has contact with an unaccompanied minor that has been resettled in the U.S. after crossing the southern border.

According to this report, these illegal alien invaders receive work permits within weeks, allowing these criminals to take US jobs.  This is a slap in the face to citizens, individuals who entered the US through legal means, and individuals waiting to enter the US through legal channels.  If this isn’t enough to stir citizens to action, the fact that DHS released 8,500 illegal alien invaders into various regions of our republic from June 4th to June 11th of this year under catch and release policies – this works out to more than 1,000 criminals per day.

According to Breitbart News:

The catch and release process often entails federal immigration officials busing border crossers into nearby border cities — as well as flying them into the interior of the country — and dropping them off with the hope they show up for their immigration and asylum hearings. The overwhelming majority of border crossers and illegal aliens are never deported from the country once they are released into the U.S.

Today, there are anywhere between 11 and 22 million illegal aliens living across the country — the majority of which are concentrated in states like California, New York, Florida, Texas, and Illinois.

Since December 21, 2018, DHS has released a total of 204,500 border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the country, with all of them going to four American communities: San Diego, California; Phoenix, Arizona; El Paso, Texas; and San Antonio, Texas.

San Antonio, for example, has been forced to absorb nearly 80,000 border crossers and illegal aliens in less than six months. El Paso, similarly, has had to take in 72,500 border crossers and illegal aliens, while 37,000 have been dropped off in Phoenix and another 19,000 dropped off in San Diego.

Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan admitted weeks ago to Congress that “100 percent” of adult border crossers arriving at the southern border with children are being released into the U.S. and eventually given work permits to take American jobs.

In addition to illegal alien invaders entering with little difficulty, the US admits roughly 1.2 million legal immigrants per year with the overwhelming majority coming through “chain migration”.  Adding these numbers would indicate the US is allowing close to two million individuals into the republic yearly.  It is difficult to know exactly how many since the majority of illegal alien invaders enter undetected.

But, Congress and McAleenan want Americans to believe that changing two asylum laws will stop the invasion into the US.  Anyone else know a good joke?

It’s interesting that no one in Congress nor McAleenan has mentioned the Department of Justice “sponsorship” of 5,500 “foreign nationals to stay in the US between 2015 – 2017 to assist with criminal cases.  One type of sponsorship allows 250 “snitches” to receive a pathway to legal permanent residency under the condition these individuals provide information and cooperation “to combat complex criminal and terrorist organizations …”.  The reason these programs were not mentioned is because these individuals are criminals and some abscond.  The monitoring policies and practices executed by the DOJ have been determined inadequate to mitigate the risk of bringing these individuals into the united States.

But, changing two asylum laws will fix everything. (/sarcasm)  Don’t worry, though;  Trump has a phase two plan should Mexico fail to honor the agreement with the US to assist with the illegal alien invasion at our southern border.  The Mexican government has had to sell its presidential aircraft to help fund the efforts of thwarting illegal alien invasion along Mexico’s southern border to assist the US in thwarting illegal alien invasion of our southern border, per the agreement.  No one can say the American people were not warned when this writer predicted that Mexico would cooperate until it was no longer financially feasible for the criminal, corrupt, cartel-controlled country to do so.  Obrador has already had to sell his presidential aircraft to gain funds to honor the agreement with Trump.  How long will that last and what assets does Mexico possess to liquidate if necessary to honor the agreement?

Yes, the US has an illegal alien invasion problem that has now caused a complete collapse of the southern border due to failure of the government to enforce immigration laws and secure our borders and entry points.  It is a problem this republic has had for some time because of “politics” between both parties, who have zero interest in combating the problem.  McAleenan is misleading the Senate committee when stating that changing two asylum laws would stop the invasion by 90 percent.  Passing legislation will do nothing without the force to back it up.

Our corrupt, criminal government is responsible for the collapse of our southern border and illegal alien invasion problem.  The problem has now become so massive that it will be difficult to restore our border and stem this invasion, particularly when Congress has no motive to do so and States refuse to engage in the war necessary due to the imminent danger beyond delay experienced from this problem.  Thank whomever you want for this and blame whomever you want;  but, remember, this has been a problem decades in the making hinging on both parties’ failure to place the protection of the American people first and Americans voting the same old criminals back in office.  Unless citizens take drastic measures, this situation will only get worse.

Take heed friends.  This is only one issue where the sewn seed of failure to act is now coming to harvest (reaping). There are many others, which will come due in the future.  By then, it will be too late to correct unless severe drastic measures are taken.

Let’s conclude with a few quotes by Winston Churchill.

One ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.

Want of foresight, unwillingness to act when action would be simple and effective, lack of clear thinking, confusion of counsel until the emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong – these are the features which constitute the endless repetition of history.

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed;
if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may
come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
